<span>Position: Chef Location: 33 Lorne Street, Auckland Salary: NZ$20–$30 per hour Reports to: Executive Chef About the Role We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our kitchen team in Auckland.<br> You’ll be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining consistency and presentation, and supporting the wider kitchen team during daily operations.<br> You’ll also have the opportunity to supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff , while working closely with the Executive Chef and other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.<br> Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook high-quality dishes within your assigned section.<br> Ensure food is prepared, cooked, and presented according to recipes and quality standards.<br> Maintain portion control and consistency across menu items.<br> Supervise, train, and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff.<br> Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene across your section and storage areas.<br> Work collaboratively with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service.<br> Report stock requirements, maintenance issues, and operational concerns to senior staff.<br> Follow and uphold food safety, HACCP, hygiene, and workplace safety standards .<br> Support the team in following safety, fire, and emergency procedures.<br> About You We’re looking for someone who has: At least 2 years of relevant commercial kitchen experience.<br> Strong cooking skills and excellent attention to detail.<br> The ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation.<br> Experience supervising or supporting junior kitchen staff.<br> The ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.<br> Strong teamwork and communication skills.<br> A reliable, professional, and positive approach.<br> A culinary qualification or relevant certification is preferred.<br> What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate will be confident working independently within their section, have strong culinary skills, and take pride in maintaining high standards.<br> You’ll need to be organised, dependable, safety-conscious, and able to communicate effectively with the wider kitchen team.<br> Apply Now If you're an experienced Chef looking for your next opportunity in Auckland, we'd love to hear from you!<br></span> </div>

<span>We're looking for a Duty Manager / FOH Supervisor to lead front-of-house operations, acting as the responsible person on shift and ensuring every guest receives a consistently high standard of service.<br> The Duty Manager coaches and directs the FOH team in a fast-paced, high-volume rooftop venue and works closely with kitchen, bar, and hotel management to deliver seamless service.<br> Responsibilities Lead FOH team during service — floor coverage, table management, guest flow Act as responsible person on shift; ensure compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012 and host responsibility obligations Greet guests, resolve complaints and service issues Monitor service standards across dining, bar, and event spaces Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams on food/beverage delivery Manage opening/closing procedures, including till reconciliation and end-of-shift reporting Support recruitment, induction, and training of FOH staff Run pre-shift briefings (specials, events, priorities) Assist with rostering and shift coordination Report maintenance, H&S, or operational issues to the Venue Manager Budget/Accounts Monitor daily revenue and labour costs against targets Minimise wastage, contribute to cost-effective FOH operation Ensure accurate processing of cash, EFTPOS, and tab transactions Health & Safety Maintain a strong H&S culture and comply with all H&S requirements/policy Take no action (or inaction) that could cause harm; avoid unreasonable risks Report accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards Follow safe methods and use safety equipment Seek guidance when a safe method isn't known Minimum 2 years' experience in a FOH supervisory or Duty Manager role in a high-volume hospitality venue Current LCQ (Licence Controller Qualification) Current General Manager's Certificate (New Zealand) Willing to relocate in NZ Desirable Experience in a full-service restaurant and bar environment Experience managing private functions and events Proficient in point-of-sale systems and basic Microsoft Office</span> </div>
