The role focuses heavily on data entry, SAP accuracy, documentation control, and technical verification, supporting engineers and planners in maintaining safe and reliable lifting equipment.</p> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Technical & Equipment Support</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Identify and verify correct spare parts for offshore cranes using OEM manuals, technical drawings, and API standards.</li> <li>Support engineers by providing accurate part numbers, specifications, and documentation.</li> <li>Maintain updated technical records for cranes, lifting accessories, and critical components.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>SAP Administration & Data Entry</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Create and update SAP material master data, equipment records, BOMs, and maintenance task lists.</li> <li>Ensure high accuracy data entry for maintenance history, cost tracking, and part consumption.</li> <li>Review SAP maintenance plans along with the spare parts required in line with OEM/API requirements.</li> <li>Perform regular data quality checks to ensure consistency across PM/MM modules.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Documentation & Compliance</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Maintain traceability records, certificates of conformity, OEM data sheets, and lifting equipment documentation.</li> <li>Ensure all documentation meets ISO 9001, and client-specific compliance requirements.</li> <li>Prepare and update parts lists to align with PM s.</li> <li>Support audits by providing accurate records, SAP reports, and certification files.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Procurement & Vendor Interface</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with OEMs and suppliers for part identification, quotations, and technical clarifications.</li> <li>Review vendor documentation for accuracy and compliance before submission to engineering or QA/QC.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Operations & Maintenance Support</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Provide administrative support for maintenance planning as required by office Engineers. </li> </ul> <p> </p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul> <li>Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.</li> <li>3 7 years of experience with offshore cranes, lifting equipment, or heavy mechanical systems.</li> <li>Strong experience with SAP PM/MM in an oil & gas or offshore environment.</li> <li>Knowledge of API 2C, LOLER, ISO 9001, and offshore maintenance practices.</li> <li>Experience with OEMs such as LeTourneau, Favco, Seatrax, NOV is advantageous.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> <strong>Technical</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Very good understanding of offshore crane systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical).</li> <li>Ability to interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and API standards.</li> <li>Familiarity with lifting accessories and certification requirements.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>SAP Expertise</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Strong proficiency in SAP PM/MM modules.</li> <li>High accuracy data entry skills with strong attention to detail.</li> <li>Experience with material master creation, BOM updates, work order processing, and procurement workflows.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Administrative</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Excellent documentation, record keeping, and reporting skills.</li> <li>Strong organizational ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.</li> <li>Ability to maintain structured, audit-ready documentation.</li> </ul> <p> <strong>Soft Skills</strong> </p> <ul> <li>Clear communicator with strong coordination skills across engineering, procurement, and operations.</li> <li>Detail-oriented, disciplined, and proactive.</li> <li>Comfortable working in fast-paced maintenance environments.</li> </ul>
<p>EnerMech is a leading specialist engineering services company delivering integrated solutions across the energy and infrastructure sectors. With operations around the world, we support our customers with specialist technical expertise that improves safety, reliability and operational performance. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager Cranes to lead the delivery of a major crane operations and maintenance contract supporting operations in Abu Dhabi. The Role You will have overall responsibility for the safe, reliable and commercially effective delivery of the contract, leading the operations and maintenance teams and maintaining a strong relationship with the client. Key responsibilities include: Lead all crane operations and maintenance activities across the contract. Manage operational and maintenance teams, ensuring strong HSE and performance standards. Ensure cranes and lifting equipment are operated, inspected and maintained to required standards. Manage contract KPIs, equipment availability and service delivery. Maintain strong relationships with ADNOC stakeholders. Manage manpower planning and deployment to meet operational requirements. Take responsibility for budgets, forecasting, cost control and contract P&L. Drive continuous improvement across safety, reliability and operational performance.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>What We're Looking For Strong operations management experience within cranes and lifting . Demonstrable knowledge of crane operations and maintenance . Experience within oil & gas, offshore or a similar safety-critical environment. Experience leading large operational and technical teams. Strong HSE, commercial and client-management capability. ADNOC and/or UAE experience would be highly advantageous. Degree, technical qualification or equivalent relevant industry experience. This is a key position within a major UAE operation and an excellent opportunity to join EnerMech's growing Lifting Solutions business.</p>
