<p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and financial transactions.</p></li><li><p>Handle daily bookkeeping, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.</p></li><li><p>Perform bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations.</p></li><li><p>Prepare monthly financial reports and management reports.</p></li><li><p>Monitor receivables, payables, outstanding balances, and collections.</p></li><li><p>Prepare and maintain VAT records and assist with <strong>UAE VAT return filing and FTA compliance</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Verify invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documents.</p></li><li><p>Assist with payroll-related accounting and expense management.</p></li><li><p>Monitor company expenses and ensure proper documentation and approvals.</p></li><li><p>Assist with budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and financial analysis.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with auditors, banks, suppliers, and other external parties when required.</p></li><li><p>Ensure proper filing and maintenance of accounting and financial documents.</p></li><li><p>Support management with other accounting and finance-related tasks as required.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Requirements</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>1–3 years of accounting experience</strong>, preferably in the UAE.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of <strong>UAE VAT and FTA requirements</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in <strong>MS Excel</strong> and accounting software.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting.</p></li><li><p>Good numerical and analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.</p></li><li><p>Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.</p></li><li><p>UAE accounting experience is preferred.</p></li></ul>
