This role oversees the daily bar operations, including preparing and serving beverages, managing inventory, and ensuring the bar area is clean, organized, and compliant with local regulations. The Head Bartender leads and trains bar staff, sets service standards, and supports menu development, including cocktails and other beverages. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising cash handling procedures, coordinating with the kitchen and floor teams, and resolving guest inquiries or concerns promptly. The role requires a hands-on presence during service, maintaining a professional, welcoming environment and contributing to a positive team culture.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Strong Customer Service skills combined with effective Communication abilities to engage guests and support team collaboration.</li><li>Solid Bartending expertise with practical Food & Beverage knowledge, including cocktail preparation, product knowledge, and responsible service practices.</li><li>Accurate Cash Handling skills, including operating POS systems, managing payments, and maintaining transaction records.</li><li>Proven experience leading a bar team or similar supervisory role in a busy hospitality environment.</li><li>Knowledge of beverage trends, menu development, and basic inventory control.</li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Familiarity with local health, safety, and alcohol service regulations in Abu Dhabi or willingness to learn and comply.</li><li>Relevant hospitality or bar training certifications are preferred; prior international or high-volume venue experience is an advantage.</li></ul>
