<section><p class="heading jdMain">Job Description</p><p class="heading">Roles & Responsibilities</p><div class="paragraph"><p><strong>Bid & Start-Up Phase</strong></p><ul><li><p>Review tender documents, scope of work, client specifications, schedules, procedures, and method statements.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical and execution input to offshore management during bid stage, including durations, qualifications, and execution strategies.</p></li><li><p>Participate in bid strategy and estimation meetings.</p></li><li><p>Prepare, review, and issue ITBs for offshore scope; technically evaluate subcontractor proposals.</p></li><li><p>Review technical handover documents upon award and ensure full understanding of scope and client requirements.</p></li><li><p>Distribute project scope and specifications to relevant departments.</p></li><li><p>Finalize offshore project deliverables and develop offshore execution plans and schedules in coordination with project stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Perform techno-commercial and constructability reviews to optimize offshore installation cost.</p></li><li><p>Participate in preparation of the project HSE plan and review project ITPs.</p></li></ul><p><strong>All Project Phases</strong></p><ul><li><p>Act as the focal point for all offshore-related communication with clients and internal departments.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate engineering, planning, procurement, logistics, survey, HSE, and subcontract activities for offshore scope.</p></li><li><p>Review engineering documents, procedures, drawings, and analyses from a constructability perspective and ensure timely client submission and approval.</p></li><li><p>Prepare scopes, schedules, and evaluations for offshore subcontracted works.</p></li><li><p>Manage offshore risks, opportunities, changes, variations, and claims.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project deliverables, material procurement, marine spread requirements, and subcontractor performance.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, CHOD, budget, schedule, quality standards, and company HSEMS.</p></li><li><p>Provide input to weekly/monthly reports, exception reports, audits, and lessons learned.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Pre-Offshore Phase</strong></p><ul><li><p>Review and chair mobilization and risk assessment meetings; ensure offshore readiness.</p></li><li><p>Ensure approval and availability of procedures, manpower, marine spread, installation aids, consumables, and documentation.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Offshore Execution Phase</strong></p><ul><li><p>Monitor offshore progress, cost, and schedule against budget and CHOD.</p></li><li><p>Supervise offshore construction engineers and subcontractors; evaluate performance.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate daily offshore operations with clients, marine, yard, and project teams.</p></li><li><p>Conduct offshore HSE audits and ensure safety compliance.</p></li><li><p>Manage changes, delays, recovery plans, and interface with fabrication yards to maintain load-out and offshore continuity.</p></li><li><p>Ensure effective coordination for hook-up activities with E&I, commissioning, and project teams.</p></li><li><p><strong>Close-Out Phase</strong></p></li><li><p>Coordinate preparation and submission of offshore final documentation and dossiers.</p></li><li><p>Prepare project close-out reports including lessons learned and recommendations.</p></li><li><p>Appraise of the performance of the offshore construction personnel.</p></li><li><p>Support commercial handover, claims, invoicing, and subcontract close-out.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Leadership & Stakeholder Management</strong></p><ul><li><p>Lead and coordinate offshore construction teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual requirements.</p></li><li><p>Optimize resource utilization to achieve or exceed projected profit margins.</p></li><li><p>Provide technical and commercial support to contracts and estimation teams when required.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering .</p></li><li><p>15 years+ ‘experience in offshore construction.</p></li><li><p>Proven managerial ability.</p></li><li><p>Strong commercial and contractual awareness.</p></li><li><p>Good negotiation and decision making skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent spoken and written English language skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent report writing skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Committed team player/ leader.</p></li><li><p>Thorough understanding of offshore operations and equipment</p></li></ul><p></p></section>
