Job Summary<br><br>We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) to join a leading healthcare provider in Al Ain, UAE. The successful candidate will specialize in the diagnosis and management of high-risk pregnancies, fetal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and advanced obstetric care while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best maternal and fetal outcomes.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Provide comprehensive care for women with high-risk pregnancies and complex maternal medical conditions. Perform advanced obstetric ultrasound examinations, including fetal anomaly scans, growth assessments, and Doppler studies. Conduct prenatal diagnostic procedures such as amniocentesis and chorionic villus sampling (CVS), where applicable. Diagnose and manage fetal abnormalities, multiple pregnancies, fetal growth restriction, preeclampsia, and other maternal-fetal complications. Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care with Obstetrics & Gynecology, Neonatology, Genetics, Anesthesiology, and other specialties. Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum consultations for high-risk obstetric patients. Counsel patients and their families on prenatal screening, diagnosis, treatment options, and pregnancy management. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education activities. Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements. Supervise and support junior medical staff, residents, and fellows, where applicable.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution. Completion of an accredited Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Fellowship or Subspecialty Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine from a recognized institution. Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine.<br><br>Experience<br><br>Minimum 3–5 years of post-board/subspecialty experience as a Consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Experience in a tertiary care or referral hospital is preferred. Demonstrated expertise in advanced fetal imaging, prenatal diagnosis, and the management of high-risk pregnancies.<br><br>Skills & License<br><br>Valid DOH License/Eligibility is preferred.
