Job Purpose<p><span>At the forefront of Emirates Engineering, the Line Maintenance section plays a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our aircraft. This dynamic area manages both Line Maintenance and Aircraft Cabin Maintenance (ACM), working continuously with essential operational teams such as Flight Operations and Network Control. Our mission is to deliver efficient and reliable services that meet the demands of a busy commercial flight schedule.</span></p><br><br><br><p><strong><span>Aircraft Mechanic</span></strong><span> is responsible to assist Aircraft Technicians / Licensed Aircraft Engineers with the maintenance of Emirates and third-party aircraft compliant to GCAA regulations.</span></p><br><br><p><strong><span>In this role you will:</span></strong></p><br><br><ul><li><span>Assist senior staff in activities such as aircraft fuel handling, wheels & breaks servicing, nitrogen recharging, engine servicing etc. as required, in order to provide essential support for the department operational activities.</span></li><li><span>Carry out basic support servicing and/or component replacements of Emirates and third-party aircraft as instructed and supervised by the Licensed Engineers.</span></li><li><span>Inspect all equipment before use to ensure that they are fully operational and inform Supervisor on duty of any faults to the workshop for the faults to be repaired.</span></li><li><span>Ensure tools, equipment and systems (including Ultramain) are well maintained in the relevant workplace.</span></li><li><span>Maintain and ensure the safety of self and others by taking safety precautions at all times, continuously monitoring the working area and taking corrective action to keep it clean and obstruction free to avoid any accidents.</span></li><li><span>Work in cleaning aircraft/engine parts in accordance with approved manual specifications.</span></li><li><span>Assist during push back operation to ensure that the push back procedure is carried out efficiently and safely.</span></li><li><span>Assist the Senior Mechanic/ Aircraft Engineer for snag rectification and component change, using special tools in order to make the aircraft fully operational to avoid delayed departures. </span></li></ul>Qualification<p><strong><span>To be considered for the role you must meet the following requirements:</span></strong></p><br><br><ul><li><span>Vocational/ National / Higher National Diploma (12+2 or equivalent) or Apprenticeship in Mechanical, Electronic, Avionics or Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved maintenance organization</span></li><li><span>Ability to understand and handle hazardous chemicals and substances.</span></li><li><span>Ability to understand/read analogue and digital measuring devices related to pressure, temperature and flow.</span></li><li><span>Must be able to hold a valid Airport Driving Permit if required.</span></li><li><span>Adequate knowledge in aircraft maintenance practices.</span></li><li><span>Full awareness of safety procedures.</span></li><li><span>Should have a sound knowledge of routine servicing ground equipment and should be able to identify unserviceability and record these to ensure immediate rectification.</span></li><li><span>Knowledge of Paint Restoration/Artistic Painting is desirable.</span></li></ul><br><p><span>Safety Sensitive role: Yes</span></p><br><br>Salary & benefits<p><span>Join us in Dubai and enjoy an attractive tax-free salary and travel benefits that are exclusive to our industry, including discounts on flights and hotels stays around the world. <p><h4>Position summary</h4>
<p>Greet guests upon arrival and articulately explain details and amenities available. Respond to guest requests for special arrangements or services (e.g., unpacking, dry cleaning, press guest garment, shoeshine, assist with reservations, and transportation) by making arrangements or identifying appropriate providers. Respond to special requests from guests with unique needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction.</p>
<p>Gather, summarize, and provide information to guests about the property and the surrounding area amenities, including special events and activities. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Inspect guest rooms after being cleaned by housekeeper to ensure quality standards.</p>
<p>Verify room status, determine discrepant rooms, prioritize room cleaning, and update status of departing guest rooms. Assist housekeeping management in managing daily activities. Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the front desk. Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in assignment sheets/work boards. Communicate issues to next shift. Complete required paperwork.</p>
<p>Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, and motivating and coaching employees. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications.</p>
<p>Ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs;</p><p></p>
