This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi.<br>Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:<br>• Technical Delivery<br> Assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project with respect to utilities works. Interacting with contractor, sub-contractor, and laboratory & monitoring construction work on daily basis.<br> Co-ordinate with various government departments, contractors, consultants and public to facilitate progress and avoid delays. Chairs the meetings with the utilities agencies and any other meetings delegated by the Resident Engineer Utilities.<br> Assist the Resident Engineer in reviewing of shop drawings, design proposals, method statements and other activities including correspondence related to the utility section and prepare replies for the review of the Resident Engineer.<br> Demonstrated ability to prepare instructions, specifications, and reports and cost estimates.<br> Coordinate with the contractor engineers on scheduling and application of resources.<br> Direct, assist and monitor the performance of the inspectors and surveyors as applicable.<br> Review and approve Design document and construction plan and procedure.<br> Prepare / Assist in the preparation of Weekly and Monthly progress reports. <span><br>POSITION SUMMARY<br>Respond and attend to guest repair requests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Carry equipment (e.g., tools, radio). Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for buildings. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
