<p><strong>Compliance Assurance Unit</strong></p><br><p>The unit is responsible for conducting the Group Compliance Assurance Review programme to verify that the Group complies with the regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies and procedures. This entails planning, development and implementation of a risk-based Group Compliance assurance review plan, working with business units to undertake reviews, and issuing reports that provide assurance as well as highlighting deficiencies so they can be rectified. The Compliance Assurance function is responsible for maintaining a log of all compliance related issues across the Group. Advise the Contractor to update the site safety plan when necessary.</li><li>Review and comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.</li><li>Develop and update AtkinsRéalis HSE documents (the Safety File), e.g. HSE Plan, HSE specific site risk assessment, office risk assessment, office fire risk assessment, etc.</li><li>Conduct accident and incident investigations for AtkinsRéalis staff.</li><li>Compile accident report and incident statistics.</li><li>Chair weekly safety meetings where required with the Contractor and other parties as necessary.</li><li>Issue MOM on time (within 48 hours).
