<p><b>The AML Compliance Officer (AMLCO) manages multiple teams through other managers. In-depth understanding of how own sub-function contributes to achieving the objectives of the function. A good understanding of the industry, direct competitors' products and services, is also necessary in order to contribute to the commercial objectives of the business. Requires thorough understanding of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in both the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary. Responsible for executing functional strategy in area managed. Determines approach to implementing functional strategy. Accountable for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation and contribution to future strategy of the area(s). Impact reflects size of team managed, strategic influence on the business and interaction with other functions or businesses. Full management responsibility for multiple teams, including management of people, budget and planning, to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations and budget approval. Shall be doing involved or responsible for diverse (cross-discipline) activities.</b><br></p><br><p><b><u>Responsibilities:</u></b></p><br><ul><li><b>Design, develop, deliver, and maintain best-in-class AML Compliance policies and practices; provide a mechanism for identifying key money laundering risks and how the mitigation of those risks would be monitored and measured through a robust control framework. Confirm that reviews are conducted consistently across each entity on a regular basis to validate that the controls identified are operating effectively.</b></li><li><b>Develop and improve upon the Governance and Escalation framework to inform senior management in a timely manner of emerging issues for promptly action and correction.</b></li><li><b>Establish a formal Feedback Channel with the Businesses, Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance to validate that root cause analysis is performed proactively and communicated to relevant stakeholders through the established channel. In addition, review, consolidate, address, and track to resolution significant issues identified through root cause analysis to senior management. Furthermore, validate that the feedback / root causes from various channels is consolidated and shared within Compliance to allow for enhancements to Policy/Standards and Learning & Development, as necessary.</b></li><li><b>Continually review and monitor the results from Manager Control Assessments (MCAs) to determine if changes are required.</b></li><li><b>Liaise with regulators externally and Citi Internal Audit and Compliance Assurance staff, as appropriate, including coordinating AML-related examinations, audit and reviews, document production, and issue responses - to confirm that there is consistency in responses and issues are communicated across regions, such that actions and conclusions are shared.</b></li><li><b>Provide adequate training is provided to the Business lines and other AML Compliance employees, and, as needed, participate in the design and delivery of training as required, to inform employees of the objectives of the program.</b></li><li><b>Lead and manage a diverse team of staff across multiple locations; Job Purpose<br>The role holder is responsible for directing the operational performance and delivery of the construction-project portfolio by establishing operational priorities, governance frameworks and performance standards across all projects. We welcome projects in all areas of the Humanities related to the study of the Arab world, its rich literature and history, its cultural and artistic heritage, and its manifold connections with other cultures. Scholars may work on any type of academic writing, including a research article, book manuscript, chapter, or essay.<br><br>The residency is designed for scholars who are already well advanced in a research project and are in the writing, revision, or final stages of completing it. Enterprise Data Architect<br>Enterprise Architect - DATA is required by our global client for long term project<br>The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end architecture of complex digital solutions, translating business outcomes and non-functional requirements into secure, resilient, scalable and operable designs. The role bridges strategy and delivery across applications, data, integration, cloud platforms and engineering, while governing key trade-offs and ensuring alignment with enterprise principles, target architectures and multi-cloud standards.<br>KEY RESPONSIBILITIESOwn solution architecture from discovery through deployment and transition to operations, producing context, logical, physical, integration, data, security and deployment views. Translate business, functional and non-functional requirements into target solutions, architecture decisions, transition states and delivery roadmaps. Design cloud-native applications using 12-factor principles, APIs, microservices, containers, serverless patterns, distributed systems, resiliency, observability and automated operations. Define portable deployment standards for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, configuration, secrets, release, scalability, availability and disaster-recovery requirements. Select fit-for-purpose integration patterns, including synchronous APIs, event-driven messaging, streaming, orchestration, batch interfaces and ETL/ELT; define contracts, ownership, latency, retry, idempotency and failure handling. Design end-to-end data flows and integration architectures covering operational stores, dimensional models, lakes, warehouses and data products; govern modelling, transformation, lineage, metadata, quality, security and retention. Lead solution option assessments and govern build, partner, buy, reuse and shape decisions based on differentiation, capability, time-to-value, total cost, portability, lock-in, risk and operating impact. Evaluate platforms, products, vendors and partner designs; validate technical claims through evidence, proof of concept and measurable acceptance criteria. Lead design reviews and approve solution designs for compliance with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data, service-management and cloud guardrails; document exceptions and remediation. Provide technical direction to software, data, platform, Dev Ops, security and operations teams; ensure architecture is implementable and remains aligned through delivery. Identify and reduce technical debt, duplication and unnecessary customization by promoting reusable services, standard patterns and governed technology choices. Advise senior stakeholders on architecture choices, risks, dependencies, cost and delivery trade-offs, and maintain architecture decision records and assurance evidence.<br>ESSENTIAL experience must include15+ years of IT experience, including at least 10 years in solution, application, data or enterprise architecture roles delivering complex transformation programmes. Strong hands-on architecture background across software engineering, data engineering, integration, cloud platforms, infrastructure, security and operations. Deep knowledge of cloud-native and distributed architecture, 12-factor applications, microservices, APIs, containers, serverless, event-driven design, streaming and batch processing. Strong command of integration and data patterns, including API management, messaging, ETL/ELT, operational and dimensional modelling, transformation, lineage, metadata, master/reference data and data-quality controls. Experience defining deployment and engineering standards for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, testing, observability, reliability and secure-by-design practices. Proven ability to assess build, partner, buy, reuse and shape options and to challenge vendor proposals, proprietary claims, lock-in, commercial assumptions and operating-model impacts. Practical experience with architecture principles, reference architectures, target-state roadmaps, design authorities, architecture decision records and governance frameworks such as TOGAF. Ability to balance strategic alignment with delivery pragmatism and make explicit trade-offs across cost, speed, quality, security, resilience, portability and maintainability. Strong facilitation, technical leadership and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence engineering teams, vendors and senior decision-makers.
