General Description<br><br>This role is responsible for providing proactive technical and estimation support for all project requirements and submittals during tendering as well as project execution phase. The role spans mechanical (fluid dynamics) and electrical (genset) systems, with a strong focus on cost estimation for rental framework and maintenance contracts. It will also address documentation requirements of a technical nature by working closely with the sales and operations team.<br><br>1.1. Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities<br><br>Technical Support<br><br> Review opportunity information, specifications, drawings, and other applicable details to determine requirements for design of system. Perform all necessary calculations and analysis, interpretation of data, pressure drop and flow analysis, and generator set sizing and electrical load calculations, etc., as required. Responsible for preparation of project-specific method statements in line with scope of works, commercial & technical proposals that comply with client and regional specifications, standards and guidelines. Responsible for the preparation of project drawings (Working plans to details) complying with project design, specifications and guidelines, as follows (knowledge of geographical coordinate systems is preferred): System layout and details System cross sections Electrical and hydraulic layout Construction drawings Discharge layouts for NOC applications Assist the bid process by identification of scope of works and generation of BOQ measurement items from Client drawings and design concepts. Responsible for the compilation of cost estimates in line with engineering parameters, bill of quantity and specific client requirements, including schedule-of-rates pricing for framework agreements and annual maintenance contracts. Assist in evaluating bids and in acknowledging or declining them in line with company philosophy and strategy. Provide marketing support, prepare prequalification documentation and customised datasheets.<br><br>1.2. Qualification Requirements<br><br> Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized University. Minimum 5 years' experience in an estimation or technical support role, including framework and maintenance contract tendering. GCC experience is essential, with demonstrable exposure to UAE client specifications, authority requirements and regional supply-chain pricing. Proficient in Mechanical Fluid Dynamics, Pump Applications and Selection. Working knowledge of electrical genset systems, including sizing, load calculations and associated ancillaries. Strong estimation arithmetic and logical reasoning skills, with demonstrable accuracy in quantity take-off, rate build-up and cost modelling. Proficient in Auto CAD, Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel. Effective communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation skills. Demonstrable track record of managing multiple tender proposals simultaneously. Job Purpose <br> Hard Services Supervisor is required to manage day to day operations in a modern multi-tenanted commercial building, managing a direct delivery and subcontract service team to deliver high levels of client and end user satisfaction. Supervisor will demonstrate well developed soft skills to augment multidisciplinary expertise in building maintenance as well. Supervisor will develop a detailed understanding of the varying requirements of the buildings tenants and create additional revenue opportunities through selling optional tenant focussed services and best industrial standards in order to deliver outstanding quality of our assets and optimum performance of our resources. <br>Manage all aspects of Facilities Management hard services including but not limited to maintain and/or repair of access equipment, air conditioning, building fabric, any capital works, lift & escalator services, Fire & security systems, generators, HL/LV electrical systems, lighting, Water/Plumping, UPS, HVAC, lighting protection, CCTV & access control hardware and assisting on decoration & refurbishment. Manage hard service suppliers, on a daily, weekly & monthly basis, professionally and in a partnering way that the outputs and manning levels for the supplier is in a cost effective, safe and secure environment and it is maximized their added value and support to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and maintain excellent quality at ENOC’s premises. Ensure that team members of supplier are provided learning, development & training opportunities on their area by identifying successors within the team, considering them for the next accountable roles and responsibilities Develop policies & standard operating procedures, technical Scope of Works for any hard services at ENOC’s premises and ensure service provider supplier follows it Review, develop and update the relevant existing technical scope of works, procedures, operating manuals and instructions as required as part of the ‘continuous process improvement. Develop all required KPI and SLA for service provider suppliers and ensure they are managed and where they fail to meet target identify improvements to suppliers’ process. Manage implementation of relevant electronic systems / smart solutions / innovative to bring efficiency and effectiveness existing processes. Actively use and maintain compliance to Integrated management system (SHEQ), Building Management System etc. Prepare and present inputs related to ENOCs assets & projects budgets to the next reporting line. Manage and control the actual cost verses budget on periodic basis and provide financial reports/data related to the department / divisional / project’s financial performance. Review & endorse invoices to ensure expenditure is on target against plans and forward them to the next reporting line for approval Carry out regular site audits of all site to make sure assets registered maintained wel1 Performed regular safety reviews, audits and inspections on all hard services works activities including non-routine maintenance & repair activity(s) and Planne Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities as well in a proactive way Manage stakeholder relationships such as regular visits, response on timely for requests etc. & resolve issues and identify steps to improve when required Oversee effective provision of services for internal and external customer, keep the relationship between company & stakeholder and/or tenants in professional way Produced & managed hard service’s records and ensure suppliers manage maintenance and repair of cleaning equipment as required.
