Secure the Kubernetes platform, event-streaming layer and database architecture;

Embed DevSecOps into the SDLC: SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets management and CI/CD security gates; own IAM, privileged access and secrets governance.
Threat detection, response and testing:

Stand up and run threat detection, monitoring and alerting across the estate;

Own incident response end to end: playbooks, forensics, breach notification and post-incident review;

It delivers seamless omnichannel experiences across more than 950 stores, online platforms, and mobile apps. Driving this innovation journey is The Greenhouse — the Group’s innovation hub, incubator, and accelerator for startups and emerging businesses, regionally and globally.

Chalhoub Group fosters a people-at-heart culture rooted in diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a workplace catalysed by forward thinking and future-proofing. Today, it brings together over 16,000 talented professionals across eight countries in the Middle East, with a presence in LATAM. Their collective efforts have earned the Group the Great Place to Work® certification in several markets.

Sustainability is at the core of the Group’s strategy, guided by a clear commitment to people, partners, and the planet. Chalhoub Group is proud to be a member of the United Nations Global Compact, a signatory of the Women’s Empowerment Principles, and to have pledged to reach Net Zero by 2040.

What you'll be doing

As a Corporate Finance & Development Manager, you will lead the analytical and execution agenda behind the Group's most strategic capital and growth decisions. The role acts as a key thought partner to the CFO office and ExCom — translating complex business questions into structured analysis, deal architecture, and decision-ready recommendations. The Manager owns end-to-end workstreams across capital allocation, Group-level portfolio optimization, new market entry, M&A and JV transactions ensuring every initiative is rigorously underwritten, well-structured, and aligned with the Group's long-term value creation priorities.

ExCom & Board Deliverables

Lead the preparation of ExCom, CFO, and Board materials on capital deployment, portfolio performance, M&A opportunities, and strategic initiatives, owning the narrative arc from raw analysis through to final recommendation. Distill complex financial, commercial, and strategic content into clear, executive-grade outputs, ensuring intellectual rigor and a sharp point of view. Anticipate leadership questions and structure pre-reads, discussion notes, and decision memos that drive alignment and accelerate decision-making. Partner with the VP of CFD to shape the cadence and content of recurring governance forums (CAPCOM, ExCom, Family Board) on capital and investment matters.

M&A & Deal Structuring:

Support the financial and structural workstreams on M&A, JV, divestment, and partnership transactions, from origination support through to execution. Architect deal structures — equity splits, governance terms, earn-outs, put/call mechanics, capital contributions, and exit pathways — that balance value creation, risk allocation, and strategic control. Build and own integrated valuation models (DCF, SOTP, trading and transaction comps) and lead negotiations support including bid strategy, sensitivity ranges, and walk-away thresholds. Coordinate financial, tax, and operational due diligence streams, synthesizing findings — including synergy assessment and integration risks — into a single investment thesis and risk register for leadership. Draft Investment Committee papers, term sheets input, and post-signing integration or value creation plans as needed.

New Markets & Growth Strategy:

Actively contribute in structuring market entry analyses for new geographies, categories, and brand opportunities, combining top-down market sizing with bottom-up unit economics to test commercial viability. Develop entry-mode frameworks (organic build, JV, acquisition, distribution partnership, franchise) and recommend the optimal structure given strategic fit, capital intensity, speed-to-market, and risk profile. Partner with Business Development, Growth and Commercial teams to pressure-test business cases, refine assumptions, and ensure proposals meet Group hurdle rates and capital efficiency benchmarks.

Portfolio Optimization & Capital Allocation:

Own the analytical engine behind the Group's capital allocation framework, ranking opportunities across brands, formats, and geographies on a risk-adjusted return basis. Lead portfolio performance reviews covering ROIC, economic profit, growth trajectories, and capital intensity, surfacing reallocation opportunities and underperformance for ExCom attention. Drive WACC and cost of capital analysis at Group and business-unit level, refining benchmarks used across investment appraisal and business case validation. Support capital structure work including leverage targets, funding mix, and balance sheet optimization in coordination with Group Treasury.

Strategic Planning & Investment Appraisal:

Embed CFD's perspective into the 3-Year Strategic Plan and annual budget cycles, translating strategic ambitions into capital plans, cash flow trajectories, and value creation roadmaps. Lead the review and challenge of business unit investment submissions — new stores, brand launches, capex programs, transformation initiatives — ensuring analytical integrity and consistency with Group frameworks. Run scenario and stress-testing exercises across the portfolio to quantify exposure to macro, FX, and operational sensitivities, and recommend mitigation actions.

Stakeholder Partnership and Advisory:

Operate as a connector across Group Finance, Strategy, Commercial, Tax, Legal, and the business units, building the trust and partnership needed to move complex workstreams forward. Contribute to the continuous improvement of CFD's methodologies, templates, and governance standards.

Leadership & Capability Building:

Review models, valuations, and their underlying assumptions, scenarios, and sensitivities, coaching the team on modeling technique and analytical discipline and building capability over time. Ensure analytical outputs meet corporate finance and governance standards, and that investment assumptions and outcomes are accurately documented before materials reach leadership.

What you will need to succeed

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; Master's, MBA, CFA, or ACA/CA strongly preferred.

You possess 5–8 years of experience in Corporate Development, Investment Banking / M&A, Transaction Services, or top-tier Strategy Consulting, ideally with exposure to consumer, retail, or luxury sectors and emerging markets.

You have a demonstrated track record of leading transactions or strategic projects end-to-end, including deal structuring, valuation, and executive-level communication.

You have a deep fluency in valuation methodologies, deal mechanics, capital structure, and value creation frameworks.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, or Looker are an advantage.

What we can offer you

With us, you will turn your aspirations into reality. We will help shape your journey through enriching experiences, learning and development opportunities and exposure to different assignments within your role or through internal mobility. Our Group offers diverse career paths for those who are extraordinary, every day.

We recognise the value that you bring, and we strive to provide a competitive benefits package which includes health care, child education contribution, remote and flexible working policies as well as exclusive employee discounts.

Using GenAI in Your Application Process

To support a fair and consistent experience for all candidates, we ask that assessments and interviews are completed independently and without assistance from generative AI tools. This ensures we understand your strengths, your thinking, and how you approach real situations.

We invite all applicants to apply

It takes diversity of thought, culture, background, differing abilities and perspectives to truly inspire, exhilarate and delight our customers. At Chalhoub Group, we are committed to inclusion and diversity.

We welcome all applicants to apply and be part of our exciting future. We ensure equal opportunity for all our applicants without regard to gender, age, race, religion, national origin or disability status.
