Come build with us!<br><br>The opportunity<br><br>As Column’s Emerging Markets Lead, you will spearhead one of our most strategic international expansion initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for driving 0-to-1 growth for a new banking product by building and nurturing relationships with prospective partners and customers in select markets, with a specific focus on Eastern Europe and Central Asia. This role combines global expansion strategy, business development with hands-on relationship management, requiring a general business athlete who thrives on networking and executing complex partnerships. Catering Sales Manager <br>Job Purpose:The Catering Sales Manager is a senior commercial role responsible for owning, driving, and growing company’s catering revenue across the UAE. The role carries full commercial accountability for the catering sales channel from strategy and business development through to client management, proposal ownership, and revenue delivery. Contribute to the annual catering business planning process, providing commercial input on targets, growth initiatives, and resource requirements.<br>Experience requirement:Minimum 7+ years of progressive experience in luxury hospitality sales, catering sales, premium food & beverage, or high-end event sales with a strong track record of revenue delivery and business development within the UAE. Proven commercial ownership experience with demonstrated ability to manage sales targets, pipelines, and revenue accountability independently. UAE market experience is mandatory, with an established network across corporate, luxury hospitality, government, and premium events sectors. Background from 5-star hotels, luxury catering companies, luxury hospitality groups, premium event companies, or high-end F&B brands is strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to develop and close senior-level accounts and manage complex, high-value commercial relationships. Our newest opportunity is for a talented Mechanical Inspector to join our team based on our project in Dubai, UAE. This position is responsible for undertaking inspections on site in accordance with the mechanical related Inspection and Test Plans (ITP's).
We envisage success in this role to include;
Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
Reporting any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
Monitoring quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.
Maintaining records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
Preparing surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
Checking and ensure effective co-ordination between discipline related works and all other disciplines.
Providing technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline related issues on site that may arise.</p><p>Qualifications:
