As the business expands, we are hiring two Junior Cost and Accounting Engineers to help design, build, and govern the cost frameworks that support our growth. This title is intentional. These are not traditional accounting or finance reporting roles. We are looking for individuals who can approach cost management as an engineering discipline - structuring how costs are captured, allocated, analysed, and controlled across the business. One role will be embedded within the Technology function, while the other will sit within the Commercial function. As the group continues to grow through new business units and acquisitions, there will also be future opportunities to support acquisition-related cost structures. COST GOVERNANCE AND ALLOCATION FRAMEWORKS Cost management is not the same as accounting or financial reporting. While accounting explains what has already happened, this role is focused on designing and governing how costs are structured, allocated, tracked, and controlled across the business. We are looking for someone who understands cost management as a discipline in its own right — someone who can go beyond running reports and instead build clear cost allocation methodologies, track costs at project and function level, and provide leadership with early visibility before issues become problems. This role is not for someone who simply reports numbers after the fact. It is for someone who can understand how costs move through a business, create the right frameworks to manage them, and help leadership make better decisions based on structured, accurate, and forward-looking cost visibility.
