What connects our teams globally is a shared sense of responsibility: for our work, our customers and each other.<br><br><br><br>What's it all about?<br><br>You act as the technical point of contact for primary applications in the MEA region and proactively take ownership of related application activities in close collaboration with Area Sales Managers, Application Engineers, Product Management, Marketing, and Regional Management You support primary equipment applications for power system assets such as transformers, GIS/AIS, switchgear, cables, and substations You support commissioning, testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting activities for primary equipment across the asset lifecycle You provide technical expertise during strategic customer visits, supporting utilities, EPCs, and industrial customers with application-oriented solutions You contribute to regional business development by identifying customer needs, application opportunities, and technical requirements You monitor regional trends, standards, and competitive developments and actively bring in ideas for improvement You participate in regional user meetings, workshops, and technical events, and contribute to presentations, application notes, and technical papers<br><br>What are we looking for?<br><br>You have completed your education in electrical engineering and have several years of experience in testing of power systems and in primary applications You are customer and business oriented and a proactive networker You are self-motivated and full of initiatives to convince colleagues even across distances and countries Communication and organizational skills are among your strengths You are flexible, and would enjoy traveling (up to 50 %) You have an excellent knowledge of English & Arabic.
