He is also responsible for proper allocation of resources and monitoring the progress of his team.<br><br>Job Responsibilities<br><br>Estimate BOQ for electrical and mechanical materials required to carry out the work. Responsible for effective utilization of manpower, work planning, progress monitoring and adherence to scheduled completion of work activities. Ensure proper distribution of man and material resources to effectively optimize the use of allocated budget. Conduct daily toolbox talk such as the work procedures, tools to be used for the day, how to react during hazardous situations, safety procedures to follow, etc with the team before start of work. Ensure proper documentation and installation drawings are used during site execution and update changes in the drawing. Supervise the work performed by reportees and ensure quality delivery of work. Provide appropriate work inputs and assist supervisors during planning and review meetings. Prepare daily progress report. <br><br>Job Requirements<br><br>Academic Qualification's<br><br>Must possess vocational or advanced vocational diploma in electrical field from a reputed institution.<br><br>Work Experience<br><br>Must possess minimum 5 years of prior work experience in a power distribution/transmission company including at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience. Must have experience in a supervisory role managing manpower. Must have experience in electrical installation. Must have knowledge of using hand tools and machines required to perform the work effectively.<br><br>Functional Skills/knowledge Required<br><br>Must be able to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Must possess the ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand. Must ensure general rules of safety are applied at all times while at work site.
