We're hiring a Senior Accountant for a newly established perfume distributor in the U. A. E. The company is part of a European group who are expanding their business operations in the GCC region starting in Dubai, and you'll own the full accounting function up to the monthly closing of books of accounts and tax filings. You will be reporting directly to the Regional Director and functionally to the CFO in Europe.<br>Job Description Accounts Payable: Manage the purchase ledger end to end, setting up new suppliers, posting supplier invoices onto SAP, running the monthly payment cycle, and being the first point of contact for supplier queries. Accounts Receivable: Manage the sales ledger for local and GCC distributors, including sending of customer invoices, allocating customer receipts against the bank statements, following up on overdue balances, issuing statements of account, and handling of credit control with customers. Banking & Cash: Raise approved payments in online banking, post bank transactions in SAP, perform regular bank reconciliations, process employee expense claims, identify and resolve unidentified fund collections/payments, handle routine administration with banks, and overall be on top of the cash flow situation of the company. </p><p>The successful candidate will work closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to develop accurate material plans, monitor inventory, and drive planning excellence across the business.

<p>The Planning Manager oversees the planning department and ensures all project schedules and strategies are aligned with organizational goals. They manage high-level scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and client reporting.</p><p> </p><p>Project Scheduling & Planning</p><ul><li>Develop and manage the master schedule.</li><li>Lead strategic planning and resource forecasting.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of the project contractual critical path project schedule including breakdown structure for submission and approval based on contract documents.</li><li>Oversee the preparation of regular updates using all information received from PM, PCM, subcontractors, and suppliers.</li><li>Oversee the preparation and tracking of schedule of resources (plant and manpower) to meet activities milestones (Histograms).</li><li>Oversee the preparation and regular updates, and tracking of material schedules (submission, approval, order, delivery) in accordance with contract schedule ensuring timely availability of materials to minimize storage requirements whilst preventing negative schedule impact and produces related reports to the Head of Planning.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Risk Management & Compliance</p><ul><li>Provide expert advice on schedule risk, recovery, and mitigation.</li><li>Ensure programmes compliance with Planning Department SOP and contract requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ACC Planning Department SOP.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Monitoring, Reporting & Communication</p><ul><li>Oversee project baselines progress monitoring & reporting.</li><li>Review and approve all Subcontractors baseline programmes, updates, and reports.</li><li>Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports and submit them to the client/consultant/Management.</li><li>Monitor the progress of works against the contract schedule, advise on schedule slippage and oversee the preparation of recovery plans.</li><li>Oversee the production of internal and external reports as directed.
