<ul><li>Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill newborn infants, addressing respiratory distress, prematurity complications, and congenital anomalies.</li><li>Manage and interpret complex diagnostic tests, including blood gases, imaging studies, and neurological assessments, to guide treatment strategies.</li><li>Perform procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and chest tube insertion to stabilize and support compromised neonates.</li><li>Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and surgeons, to optimize patient outcomes and provide holistic care.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Possess a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Completed a residency in Pediatrics and a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, board-certified or board-eligible.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Level III or IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), demonstrating proficiency in critical care management.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in managing extremely premature infants, including those with complex medical and surgical needs.</li></ul>
