Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Director of the World’s First Real-Time Sales Reality Show — Dubai, UAE
The Role in One Sentence
You will build and run a live, unscripted, daily content machine that turns 160 real sales agents into the most-watched business story in the Middle East — and in doing so, become the architect of the most innovative B2B marketing strategy in the GCC.
Who We Are
We are a fast-growing B2B company based in Dubai with a sales operation of 160 agents across 8 teams. We are not disclosing the company name at this stage of the hiring process — full details will be shared with shortlisted candidates under a mutual NDA. What we can tell you is this: We have built one of the most active and structured sales floors in the UAE. Every day, real people are making real calls, chasing real targets, winning real deals — and losing them. We are going to film all of it. Not as a polished corporate video. Not as a scripted brand campaign. As a genuine, unscripted, character-driven reality show set on a live sales floor — and we need the person who will build it, run it, and make it the most compelling business content in the region. This role does not exist anywhere else in the GCC. Possibly anywhere in the world.
What You Will Actually Do
Build the Show Design the editorial framework for the Sales Floor content operation — the formats, the recurring segments, the weekly narrative structure, the monthly “season finale” format Develop the character system: identify the 8–12 agents whose stories will anchor the content, track their arcs across months, and build the audience’s emotional investment in their outcomes Create the content bible — the internal document that governs every piece of content produced, from a 15-second agent post to a 20-minute weekly episode Establish the tone: raw enough to be real, produced enough to be watchable, honest enough to be trusted
Run the Production Hire, manage, and direct a team of 3 field videographers, 2 editors, and 1 social media scheduler Build and own the daily production schedule: morning briefings, floor coverage rotation, same-day edit turnaround, posting calendar Implement and enforce the 21-Day Habituation Protocol — the process by which 160 agents stop performing for the camera and start ignoring it Manage the equipment inventory, the edit suite workflow, and the content approval process Brief and direct any external agency partners on quarterly brand films and high-production deliverables Own the Strategy Own the content KPIs: follower growth, engagement rate, content-influenced deal rate, content-sourced revenue, sales cycle length reduction Build and maintain the agent personal brand system: daily post formats, weekly accountability check-ins, Creator Bonus tracking Identify viral moments in real time and execute the response protocol within 30 minutes of the moment occurring Present monthly content performance reports to the leadership team with clear attribution to business outcomes — not just views and followers Develop and update the rolling 3-month content roadmap based on what is working

Coach the Talent Run the weekly 15-minute Team Leader content briefing every Sunday Conduct monthly 1-on-1 content coaching sessions with the 8–12 anchor characters Build and deliver the agent content onboarding program for all 160 agents Identify struggling agents and develop individual content plans that fit their personality and comfort level Protect the authenticity of the content by building genuine relationships with agents — not just extracting footage from the

Desired Candidate Profile

The Profile We Are Looking For Non-Negotiable Experience

You must have done at least one of the following at a high level:

Produced or directed a reality television show, docuseries, or long-form documentary

— you understand narrative arcs, character development, and how to make real people

compelling on camera

Built and run a YouTube channel or social media account to 500,000+ followers — you

understand retention mechanics, thumbnail psychology, and why people come back for the

next episode

Run a content operation for a high-growth company — you have managed a team,

owned KPIs, and connected content output to business outcomes in a way you can prove

with data

Ideally, you have done two of the three.

What You Must Genuinely Be

A storyteller first. You watch a sales agent lose a deal and you immediately see three different

stories you could tell about it. You understand that the same moment — a rejection, a

breakthrough, a team argument — can be told in a way that makes the audience feel something

or in a way that makes them scroll past. You know the difference, and you know how to get the

former every time.

Obsessed with authenticity. You have a physical reaction when you see corporate content that

is clearly scripted. You understand that the moment an agent looks at the camera, the content is

dead. You have a methodology for building trust with people who are not natural performers, and

you can describe it in specific, practical terms.

A talent developer. The best show runners in history are known for finding the humanity in

ordinary people and making audiences care about them. Every piece of content

you produce is either building pipeline, shortening sales cycles, attracting recruits, or building

brand equity — and you can articulate which one it is doing and why. You are comfortable

presenting content performance in a business review alongside revenue numbers.

A builder. This operation does not exist yet. You are not inheriting a system; you are creating

one. The people who thrive in this role are the ones who find it more exciting to build something

from nothing than to optimise something that already works.

What You Will Have Built After 12 Months

By the end of your first year, the following will exist because of you:

A daily content operation producing 165+ pieces of content per day across 160 agents and

the media crew

A weekly show with a consistent format, a loyal audience, and a recognisable cast of

characters

A library of 60,000+ pieces of indexed content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and

YouTube

A measurable content-influenced deal rate of 40% — meaning 4 in 10 closes involve a

prospect who was already watching before the first call

An agent personal brand system that has become a genuine recruitment advantage — 30%

of new agent applications cite the content as a reason for applying

A content operation recognised in the UAE and GCC as the benchmark for how B2B

companies use media

Creator Equity: Participation in the Creator Bonus pool as the architect of the system
Equipment Budget: Full access to the production equipment inventory
Team: A team of 6 from Day 1 — 3 videographers, 2 editors, 1 social media scheduler
Location: On-site Dubai, UAE
Visa: UAE employment visa provided
Start date: Immediate

The Hiring Process

Stage 1 — The Application Submit a 3–5 minute self-filmed video. Do not script it. Do not produce it. Film it on your phone. Tell us: what is the most compelling real story you have ever captured, and why did it work? We are not evaluating your production quality. We are evaluating whether you are a storyteller.

Stage 2 — The Floor Visit Shortlisted candidates will spend half a day observing a live sales floor — not interviewing. After the visit, submit a one-page document: the three stories you would tell about what you saw, and how you would tell them.

Stage 3 — The Show Bible (Paid) Final candidates will produce a 5-page Show Bible: format, recurring segments, first 4 episodes, character identification framework, and the first viral moment you would engineer.
Stage 4 — The Decision An offer will be made within 48 hours of receiving the Show Bible.
About Dubai Future Foundation:

Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) was established in 2016 to institutionalize future-shaping for Dubai and strengthen the city’s position as a leading global city of the future. The Foundation works in partnership with government and private-sector entities to imagine, design and accelerate Dubai’s future. Its work spans five strategic areas: future foresight, knowledge dissemination, capacity building, future design and future acceleration. At the heart of DFF’s mandate is turning future-focused ideas and opportunities into tangible outcomes. The Foundation embraces risk-taking, agility and foresight as key attributes in navigating emerging opportunities and challenges. DFF is guided by a core belief that leading in the present is not enough; the future must be actively imagined, designed and executed.

LIFE AT DUBAI FUTURE FOUNDATION

Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) aims to realize the wise vision of Dubai’s leadership to keep Dubai 10 years ahead, institutionalizing future-oriented thinking and forward-looking methodologies that position Dubai as the leading city of the future.

In collaboration with government entities, global institutions, startups, and innovators, DFF drives collective efforts to imagine, design, and execute the best possible future for humanity.

Under the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of DFF, the Foundation oversees a portfolio of initiatives that include the Museum of the Future, Area 2071, Dubai Future Accelerators, Dubai Future Labs, Dubai Future Academy, Dubai Future Forum, Dubai Centre for AI, and the Dubai RDI Program.

Through these platforms, DFF institutionalizes foresight, enables innovation, builds talent, and designs the systems and industries that will keep Dubai 10 years ahead in every dimension of its future.

For more information on the initiatives, projects, and programs of Dubai Future Foundation, please visit: www.dubaifuture.ae

WHERE DOES THIS ROLE FIT INTO THE BIGGER PICTURE?

The Associate Strategy and Performance Manager reports directly to the Senior Strategy Manager, Strategy and Performance, within the Strategy and Strategic Capital Department at DFF.

This vertical focuses on delivering with intention — owning strategic planning-cycle management, portfolio governance, the institutional PMO, capital allocation, operating-model and process design, enterprise digital transformation, and the performance frameworks that keep DFF’s initiatives aligned, funded, resourced, and on track.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

This role is the bridge between DFF’s strategy and its delivery. By translating moonshots into mandates, holding the portfolio accountable against measurable goals, keeping a disciplined eye on capital and human-capital alignment, and modernising how DFF operates, you ensure leadership can steer every initiative toward measurable, well-funded, well-resourced impact — and that the organisation itself stays fit to keep Dubai 10 years ahead.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Associate Strategy and Performance Manager, you will act as the connective tissue between leadership intent and execution — translating DFF’s vision, moonshots, and annual priorities into clear mandates, and surfacing project realities, risks, and trade-offs back to leadership in decision-ready form.

Your remit runs beyond individual projects: you will help shape DFF’s operating model, support its digital transformation and adoption of new tools, and partner with Finance and HR to keep capital and human-capital growth aligned to budget.

The role demands a rare dual capability — the strategic mindset to connect every initiative to DFF’s moonshots, and the delivery and financial discipline to make sure it actually ships, on budget and on impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Needs Translation (Corporate ↔ Project)

• Build a deep, current understanding of DFF’s needs at both the corporate level (vision, moonshots, annual priorities) and the project level (objectives, constraints, dependencies, delivery status).

• Engage continuously with project teams to understand their needs first-hand and anticipate problems before they escalate.

• Translate high-level strategic direction into clear, actionable mandates for project teams, and surface project-level realities, risks, and trade-offs back to leadership in a structured, decision-ready form.

• Maintain a living, enterprise-wide view of the portfolio so leadership always has an accurate picture of what is in flight, what it is delivering, and where it stands against strategy.

2. Portfolio Alignment, Orchestration & Cross-Functional Delivery

• Align efforts across the portfolio — identifying overlaps, gaps, dependencies, and synergies — and ensure every initiative is explicitly mapped to DFF’s moonshots, challenging or escalating efforts that drift.

• Establish and run portfolio governance — prioritisation frameworks, stage gates, and decision forums — that keep resources flowing to the highest-impact work.

• Conduct analysis on the innovation funnel and initiative readiness, advising which initiatives are ready to advance, pause, or stop.

• Manage cross-project dependencies and resolve conflicts in scope, timing, or resourcing before they compromise delivery.

• Coordinate directly with project owners and verticals to monitor progress, remove blockers, and unblock initiatives where they are stuck, and drive a consistent cadence of portfolio reviews, status reporting, and milestone tracking.

3. Goal-Setting, OKRs & Scorecard Supervision

• Set, review, and approve project and portfolio goals — ensuring they are ambitious, measurable, and explicitly tied to DFF’s moonshots — and hold initiatives accountable against them.

• Develop and supervise OKR-based scorecards across the portfolio, cascading objectives from corporate strategy down to initiative level and keeping them current.

• Track and maintain portfolio-level KPIs and scorecards, giving leadership a clear, current view of where the portfolio stands against target.

• Translate delivery and performance data into early-warning indicators, flagging at-risk initiatives and recommending course corrections with supporting analysis.

4. FP&A, Financial Oversight & Capital Allocation

• Build and maintain a clear FP&A view of each project — budgets, spend, forecasts, and variance — and consolidate these into a portfolio-level financial picture.

• Partner closely with Finance to support DFF’s annual budget cycles, building the bottom-up and top-down inputs that connect portfolio plans to budget.

• Work with HR to ensure DFF’s human-capital growth and headcount plans stay aligned with budgets and portfolio priorities.

• Support capital-allocation decisions — helping leadership direct funding to the highest-return initiatives and challenging spend that is not earning its place.

• Apply business-case discipline, linking project spend to expected impact and strategic return, and translate financial data into clear delivery decisions.

5. Operating Model & Process Design

• Help design and evolve DFF’s operating model — structures, roles, decision rights, and ways of working — so the organisation is set up to deliver against strategy.

• Document and critically assess DFF’s existing strategic and operational processes, mapping how work actually flows across the organisation.

• Design, optimise, and institutionalise processes that improve clarity, consistency, and speed of execution, and lead process re-engineering initiatives end-to-end — diagnosis, redesign, and change adoption.

• Apply lean, agile, and design-thinking methodologies to continuously improve how DFF plans, governs, and delivers.

6. The Role This is a senior client-facing role for someone who wants to operate at the intersection of strategy, growth, sales, and execution.
You will work directly with founders and business owners, understand their business in depth, identify what is holding growth back, and help them decide what to do next.
You are not here to simply manage a relationship.
You are here to become a trusted partner in the growth of the business.
That means understanding the client's goals, offer, market, acquisition strategy, sales process, delivery model, current constraints, and commercial priorities - then helping them turn that into a clear plan of action.
In some conversations, you will be helping a founder sharpen their positioning.
In others, you will be diagnosing why pipeline is weak, why sales are not converting, why execution is stalling, or where the next growth opportunity sits.
Your job is to create clarity.
To tell clients what matters now.
To show them what needs to happen next.
And to make sure the right actions actually happen.
This is not a traditional Customer Success role.
It is a role for someone who wants to become an exceptional commercial operator by working closely with ambitious founders and helping them solve real business problems.
The Opportunity You will have exposure to a large number of businesses, markets, offers, sales models, and growth challenges.
That creates an unusually steep learning curve.
Instead of spending years inside one company solving one set of problems, you will see patterns across dozens of businesses and develop the judgment to quickly understand: What is actually holding growth back What is noise and what matters Where the highest-leverage opportunity is What the founder should focus on now What should be stopped What should be doubled down on How strategy should translate into execution Over time, the expectation is that clients see you as someone whose judgment they trust.
Someone who can walk into a complicated situation, understand it quickly, simplify it, and give them a clear direction forward.
If you want to build serious capability in growth strategy, founder communication, sales, operations, and commercial decision-making, this role gives you the environment to do it.
What You Will Own Become a True Growth Partner to Clients You will work closely with founders to understand the business beyond surface-level account updates.
You will build a clear picture of: Their business model Target market ICP Offer Pricing Positioning Acquisition channels Sales process Current pipeline Delivery model Team capacity Growth goals Immediate constraints From there, you will help determine the highest-priority actions required to move the business forward.
Advise, Don't Just Support We are not looking for someone who simply responds to questions.
We want someone capable of leading the thinking.
You should be comfortable saying: "This is the problem I think we need to solve first.
" "This is where I think you're focusing on the wrong thing.
" "This is the strategy I would recommend.
" "This is what I would do over the next 30 days.
" "This is what needs to happen before we scale.
" You will challenge clients when needed, simplify decisions, and help them avoid wasting time on low-leverage work.
Your value comes from your judgment, not just your responsiveness.
Turn Strategy Into Action Good advice without execution is useless.
Every strategic conversation should translate into clear priorities.
You will help clients move from broad goals to focused execution: Define the objective Identify the constraint Decide the strategy Break it into clear actions Assign ownership Set timelines Review what happened Adjust based on results You should naturally reduce complexity rather than add to it.
If a client has fifteen things they could be doing, your job is often to help them identify the two or three that actually matter.
Help Clients Build Revenue You will think commercially.
That means understanding the complete journey from market to revenue: Positioning → Acquisition → Conversations → Pipeline → Sales → Revenue → Delivery → Expansion You will help clients understand where that journey is breaking down.
For example: If acquisition is weak, you investigate the offer, market, message, and channel.
If leads are coming in but deals are not closing, you look at qualification, sales process, follow-up, positioning, and pricing.
If sales are happening but delivery is becoming difficult, you help identify what needs to change operationally.
You should be comfortable moving across the business rather than treating growth as a single function.
Work Across Growth Channels Depending on the client, you may be advising across areas such as: Cold email Outbound Paid acquisition Offer development ICP and positioning Lead generation CRM and pipeline Sales process Follow-up Proposal strategy Pricing Go-to-market Operational priorities AI implementation and services You do not need to personally be the world's best practitioner in every function.
You do need enough commercial understanding to identify what is working, what is not, ask the right questions, and make good strategic recommendations.
Lead High-Level Client Conversations You will spend significant time speaking directly with founders and senior operators.
These are not scripted check-ins.
The conversations should be valuable enough that a founder would pay for the thinking itself.
You will: Review business performance Analyse what has changed Identify opportunities Diagnose problems Challenge assumptions Set priorities Recommend strategy Help unblock decisions Create accountability Keep momentum high The standard is not whether the meeting happened.
The standard is whether the meeting changed what happens next.
Own the Bigger Picture Clients may have multiple people supporting different parts of their business.
Your role is to maintain the full commercial picture.
You should understand what everyone is working on, how it connects to the overall strategy, and whether the combined effort is actually moving the client toward their objective.
If teams become disconnected, priorities conflict, or something important is falling through the cracks, you take ownership of resolving it.
The client should feel like they have one clear strategic partner who understands the whole business.
Identify Risk Before It Becomes a Problem Strong operators notice problems early.
You should recognise when: A client is losing momentum Execution has stalled The strategy is not producing results Expectations have become misaligned Lead flow is weak Sales follow-up is poor Internal delivery is becoming a blocker The client is focusing on the wrong priorities Trust is beginning to decline Then act.
Do not wait for a formal escalation.
Part of being a trusted partner is being willing to address uncomfortable realities before they become larger problems.
Skills & CompetenciesCommercial Judgment You understand how businesses grow and make money.
You can connect strategy to revenue and distinguish between activity and actual commercial progress.
Strong Diagnostic Ability You can listen to a complicated situation and quickly work out what the underlying issue is.
You separate symptoms from root causes.
Strategic Thinking You can move between the big picture and immediate execution.
You know how to turn an ambitious goal into the next few actions that actually matter.
Founder-Level Communication You can communicate confidently with intelligent, ambitious, demanding people.
You are comfortable challenging ideas without becoming confrontational.
You can give clear advice even when it is not what the client hoped to hear.
High Ownership You do not wait to be told what to do when something is obviously not working.
You investigate, decide what needs to happen, and move it forward.
Structured Execution You are excellent at turning conversations into decisions, priorities, actions, owners, and timelines.
Curiosity You genuinely enjoy understanding businesses.
You want to know why an offer works.
Why one market responds differently from another.
Why one sales process converts and another does not.
Why certain founders execute faster than others.
That curiosity compounds into judgment.
AI Fluency You actively use AI to improve your thinking and output.
You should use AI to analyse businesses, prepare for conversations, research markets, structure plans, review performance, document decisions, and increase the quality and speed of your work.
The Person We Want This role is best suited to someone who wants to accelerate their career by taking on real responsibility.
You want to become the kind of person founders trust when making important decisions.
You want to develop judgment, not just knowledge.
You want to understand how businesses grow from the inside.
You are excited by the idea of working across many different companies, seeing patterns quickly, and becoming better at solving commercial problems every week.
You do not want to spend your career running scripted calls.
You want to sit across from a founder, understand what they are trying to build, and help them build it.
You Will Probably Not Fit If You want a traditional Customer Success role You prefer being given the answer rather than finding it You are uncomfortable advising people more senior than you You avoid giving direct recommendations You prefer following scripts to thinking independently You enjoy relationship management but are less interested in business strategy You are uncomfortable discussing revenue, sales, pricing, or performance You need very clear boundaries around your responsibilities You focus heavily on activity rather than outcomes You are looking for a low-pressure role with a predictable learning curve What You Get Fully remote Full-time role at a profitable, bootstrapped company Direct access to ambitious founders and business owners Exposure to a wide variety of companies, markets, and growth problems The opportunity to build deep skill across strategy, acquisition, sales, operations, and AI Significant autonomy and ownership Direct access to senior leadership A role where your judgment and capability can grow quickly Performance-based progression into leadership, strategy, operations, or broader commercial ownership Independent Contractor Agreement This is an opportunity to become much more than an account manager.
Done well, this role develops you into the kind of commercial operator who can walk into almost any business, understand what matters, and help the founder decide what to do next.
Experience 7+ years in consulting, growth, client strategy, account management, sales, operations, or a senior client-facing role Experience working directly with founders, executives, or business owners Strong commercial understanding and the ability to think across acquisition, sales, and delivery Experience helping businesses solve growth or execution problems Strong understanding of B2B go-to-market Direct exposure to areas such as outbound, sales, offer creation, paid acquisition, pipeline management,
