Company Overview Namiri Technology Services LLC provides tax integration software and services in the UAE, aligned with the e-Invoicing framework led by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) and Federal Tax Authority (FTA). Its flagship platform, Digi Tax, helps businesses transmit tax data simply, securely and efficiently. Digi Tax operates across Kenya, Nigeria, Zambia and the UAE through a single integration layer supporting multiple national e-invoicing regimes. The UAE framework follows a decentralised, Peppol-based five-corner model. Structured invoices are exchanged in the PINT AE format through Accredited Service Providers and reported to the FTA in near real time. The UAE mandate is entering its live phase. The voluntary pilot opened on 1 July 2026. Businesses with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more must appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026, with mandatory issuance beginning on 1 January 2027 for this group. Additional cohorts will follow during 2027. Demand for technical integration support is therefore immediate and expected to grow. Position Summary The Pre-Sales / Integrations Engineer is a customer-facing technical role supporting Sales, Partners and Integrations throughout the customer lifecycle. You will help prospects and customers understand how Digi Tax connects with their ERP, billing platform, POS or custom application. You will deliver technical demonstrations, answer integration questions, prepare solution documentation and support customers through pilot, sandbox and pre-go-live testing. You will also serve as the technical point of contact for Digi Tax’s partner ecosystem, including ERP implementation partners, software vendors, accounting and audit firms, resellers and internal development teams. You will help partners build, test and certify connectors, plugins and embedded workflows using the Digi Tax API. The role requires close collaboration with Sales, Integrations, Engineering and Product to develop clear integration plans that satisfy PINT AE and Peppol requirements. Responsibilities Prospects and Direct Customers Join sales calls to understand the customer’s systems, technical environment, invoice volumes and integration requirements. Deliver technical demonstrations covering Digi Tax, APIs, data flows, PINT AE field mapping and common integration patterns. Respond accurately to technical questions, RFPs, RFIs and security or compliance questionnaires. Prepare integration scoping documents, solution diagrams, field-mapping sheets and sample payloads. Support customers during pilot and sandbox phases by troubleshooting API calls, validating XML, interpreting PINT AE errors and explaining Peppol responses. Guide customers through onboarding requirements, including ASP appointment, Emara Tax onboarding, Peppol identifier setup and master-data preparation. Help customers identify and close data gaps between their ERP and the UAE Data Dictionary. Escalate complex implementation matters and hand over clearly to Integrations and Engineering. Partners and Ecosystem Act as the technical contact for ERP vendors, accounting platforms, implementation partners, channel partners, audit firms and developer teams. Run partner onboarding sessions covering API functionality, sandbox access, credentials and environment setup. Support partners building connectors, plugins, extensions and embedded workflows on the Digi Tax API. Advise partners where Digi Tax should fit within their invoice lifecycle and how to display statuses, errors and retries. Review partner integrations against functional and compliance checklists before certification or go-live. Conduct developer office hours and working sessions to resolve authentication, payload, validation and document-type issues. Create and maintain API documentation, quick-start guides, reference implementations, sample applications, Postman collections and changelogs. Communicate API changes, deprecations and new capabilities to partners. Identify frequently repeated partner requirements and recommend reusable platform features or plugins to Product. Cross-Functional Responsibilities Maintain pre-sales collateral, integration guides, FAQs, sample code, Postman collections and demo environments. Capture recurring customer and partner issues and share them with Product and Engineering. Monitor changes to MoF and FTA guidance, specifications and timelines. Ensure customer- and partner-facing guidance remains accurate and aligned with UAE e-invoicing requirements. Exposure to SAP, Oracle Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Odoo, Zoho, Sage or Tally is valuable. Understanding of ERP add-ons, middleware, i Paa S tools, plugins and extension frameworks. Awareness of good API design principles, including clear documentation, useful error messages, sandbox parity, idempotency and versioning. Ability to write practical developer documentation and quick-start guides. Basic understanding of tax invoices, credit notes, debit notes and self-billed invoices. Familiarity with UAE VAT concepts, including TRN, standard-rated, zero-rated and exempt supplies, reverse charge and designated zones. Familiarity with Peppol, PINT AE or regional frameworks such as ZATCA is preferred. Basic scripting ability in Python, Java Script or a similar language is an advantage. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Finance, Accounting or a related field. Equivalent industry experience may be considered. One to three years of experience in a customer-facing technical role, such as pre-sales engineering, solutions consulting, technical support, implementation or integrations. Comfortable managing multiple customer onboardings against fixed regulatory deadlines. Honest and composed; does not over-promise and can clearly explain unsupported features. Comfortable working with UAE’s multinational business community and adapting communication styles. Collaborative across Sales, Integrations, Engineering and Product.
