<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span> We are looking for an experienced <b>Procurement Engineer</b> with <b>3–4 years of UAE experience</b> in the <b>MEP/Construction</b> industry.<br> <br> <b>Location:</b> UAE<br> <br> <b>Salary:</b> As per relevant experience<br> <br><span><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></span><br> </span><ul> <li>Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for MEP &amp; construction materials.<br></li> <li>Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate, and prepare purchase orders.<br></li> <li>Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams for timely material delivery.<br></li> <li>Monitor procurement schedules to avoid project delays.<br></li> <li>Maintain supplier relationships and evaluate vendor performance.<br></li> <li>Ensure compliance with project specifications, company policies, and UAE regulations.<br></li> <li>Track material deliveries and resolve procurement-related issues.<br></li> </ul> <br><span>Requirements3–4 years of UAE experience in MEP/Construction procurement.<br>Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.<br>Excellent negotiation and communication skills.<br>Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet project deadlines.<br> </span><br> </div>

<ol><li><p>Supervise daily joinery fabrication and site activities.</p></li><li><p>Lead and manage carpenters, installers, and helpers.</p></li><li><p>Allocate manpower and monitor work progress.</p></li><li><p>Ensure work complies with approved drawings, quality standards, and project schedules.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, and factory.</p></li><li><p>Ensure the availability of materials, tools, and equipment.</p></li><li><p>Enforce health and safety regulations on site.</p></li><li><p>Prepare daily progress reports and report site issues.</p></li></ol><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ol><li><p>Minimum 15 years of experience as a Joinery Foreman in interior fit-out projects.</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of joinery fabrication and installation.</p></li><li><p>Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings.</p></li><li><p>Proven leadership and team management skills.</p></li><li><p>Good communication and problem-solving abilities.</p></li><li><p>Familiar with HSE and quality standards.</p></li><li><p>Valid UAE driving license is a must.</p></li></ol>
