Ensure reporting any non-conformance in safety and quality immediately via company procedures. Act to mitigate any observed unsafe condition and prevent any incident, ensure all 'near miss' situations are reported via company procedures and highlighted to Line manager or Operations Manager.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Ensure own attendance and direct reports are in alignment with sectional shift pattern, actively participate in all meetings, projects and use skills and knowledge to contribute to improvements to process, increased efficiency or better practice. </li></ul><br><ul><li>Assist direct reports with development of competencies, mentor technicians and mechanics and identify areas of improvement to achieve the desired skill level.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Provide assistance and guidance to Technicians with application for approvals focusing on regulatory and compliance guidelines.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Staff annual business contribution evaluation (MyBC) to effectively set the staff's goals and competencies through conducting quarterly and annual performance reviews.</li></ul>Qualification<p><strong>To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Aeronautical subjects, Mechanical, Maintenance, Avionics, Electronics Tech Engineering </li><li>OR Valid Maintenance Engineering Licence</li><li>OR apprenticeship (at least 2 to 3 years) and Holder of Engine shop authorisations comparable to an existing EEMC Engine Overhaul Engineer III.</li><li>7+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft/Engine Technician with a reputable airline or MRO company.</li></ul><br><ul><li>Experienced and competent in engine test preparation, inclusive of incoming/arrival inspections ,borescope, Engine run-up, functional &amp; performance testing inclusive of engine trouble shooting component removal and installation, installation and removal of all test enabling hardware and components. </li><li>Understand the statistical process control charts used in Engine trend monitoring and take necessary actions as per the OEM recommended trending (GE Intelligent Test Cell) critical and secondary alerts. </li><li>Engine preservation and post run-up detailed inspections. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Tackles all mechanical equipment breakdowns and planned/preventive/predictive maintenance work with minimum direction and supervision within the given time constraint minimizing production downtime.Technically assesses the requirement of allocated jobs and selects the necessary tools and equipment to complete the work.Ensures that all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with the safety procedures and plant operational requirements.Using the computerized maintenance system (SAP), orders the spare parts from warehouse and maintains records of all maintenance work completed.Monitors any repeated breakdown and recommends/completes proper modification to resolve the problem.Identifies and reports any abnormalities. Initiates repairs/replacements/tests/ assembles worn out or failed components/parts. Reports to supervisor and takes necessary action to overhaul/replace parts, leaving the working area clean.Performs various works related to welding and fabrication.Mentors newly joined mechanics in order to equip them with the plant &amp; equipment knowledge necessary to carry out maintenance work.Continuously works towards improving EHS and Plant &amp; Equipment Performance by participating in all BE activities like Suggestion Scheme, 5S, Hazard Reporting, TAMAHAL/PEER, etc. Assists other departments in the repair and troubleshooting of equipment Inputs data into maintenance management systems for works and manning records.
