We are building a fast-growing Databricks practice delivering enterprise data and AI solutions across APAC.
As Lead Solution Architect – Data Engineering, you will be the technical anchor of the practice: leading solution design on client engagements, owning and defending enterprise architectures in presales, and driving large-scale migration and cloud transformation programs.
This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder who can equally command a whiteboard in front of a CTO and a Spark UI when a pipeline misbehaves.
You will also shape the practice itself — mentoring engineers, creating accelerators and reusable assets, and converting delivery success into case studies and go-to-market offerings.
Architecture & Delivery Own end-to-end architecture and design decisions on Databricks engagements, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, performant, and aligned with Lakehouse best practices.
Lead delivery of production-grade data platforms — ingestion, transformation, orchestration, governance through Unity Catalog, and downstream BI/ML enablement.
Lead large-scale migrations (legacy DW/ETL, Hadoop, on-prem estates) and cloud transformation projects to Databricks on Azure/AWS/GCP, including assessment, wave planning, and cutover.
Stay hands-on: performance tuning, debugging, code and design reviews, and setting engineering standards for the team.
Presales & Stakeholder Management Own and defend enterprise solution designs in front of architecture boards, CIOs, and CTOs — and enjoy it.
Drive presales end-to-end: discovery, solutioning, estimation, PoCs, RFPs, and proposals that convert.
Translate hard technical trade-offs into decisions executives can act on — from engineer to boardroom without changing gears.
Who Thrives Here A builder at heart — 12+ years in data engineering/architecture, 3+ on Databricks at enterprise scale, and still happiest when hands are on the keyboard.
Deep Spark expertise — architecture, performance tuning, streaming, debugging, the advanced stuff that separates architects from diagram-drawers.
Lakehouse fluency — Medallion architecture, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, governance, orchestration (Workflows, DLT/Lakeflow, Airflow, ADF); Microsoft Fabric exposure a bonus.
Battle-tested in migrations — you've led large transformation programs and have the scars and success stories to show for it.
Presales instinct — you don't just design solutions; you sell them, price them, and defend them under fire.
Modern edge — strong Python/SQL/Scala, CI/CD for data platforms, and comfort integrating ML/AI (MLflow, LLM APIs like OpenAI and Anthropic) into what you build.
Certified credibility — Databricks Data Engineer Professional / SA accreditations strongly preferred.
Founder energy — curiosity, adaptability, and the drive to build offerings, not just deliver projects

Job Description: Site Manager Department: Construction / Site Operations Location: Dubai Salary: 30 K AED
About the Role The Site Superintendent is the full-time, on-the-ground authority over daily construction execution — physically present on site every working day, directing the sequence of works, coordinating trades and subcontractors, and resolving problems in real time before they cause delays or defects. This role reports directly to the CEO, providing an on-site presence and daily execution reporting independent of the existing site supervision structure.
Requirements & Qualifications Education● Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; extensive hands-on site experience may substitute for formal qualification. Experience● Minimum 8–10 years' experience as a Site Superintendent, General Foreman, or Прораб on construction projects, with direct hands-on experience on high-rise construction (mandatory).● Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously on an active high-rise site.● Practical knowledge of core/shear wall sequencing, jump-form/climbing formwork cycles, and vertical logistics (crane and hoist scheduling) typical of high-rise builds.● Experience working on UAE construction sites and familiarity with local site safety and labour practices preferred.
Key Responsibilities● Run daily site execution — direct subcontractors and trade foremen on sequencing, manpower deployment, and work fronts.● Own the daily/weekly look-ahead schedule — translate the master programme into what actually happens on the ground each day.● Coordinate site logistics — material staging, crane/hoist scheduling, site access, and safety zoning between trades.● Act as first point of contact for on-site problem solving — trade clashes, access conflicts, immediate coordination decisions.● Enforce day-to-day HSE compliance on site (in coordination with, not replacing, a dedicated HSE officer).● Coordinate directly with subcontractor foremen as the primary "boots on the ground" management layer.● Flag progress and delay risks directly to the CEO as they arise, rather than waiting for formal reporting cycles.● Escalate any quality, safety, or coordination issues immediately — including those involving the Resident Engineer or main contractor — without independent authority to halt works.● Walk the site multiple times daily; maintain a daily site log of activities, manpower, and issues encountered.
Skills & Attributes● Strong hands-on leadership — comfortable directing trade foremen and resolving conflicts on the spot.● High attention to daily progress, sequencing, and site conditions.● Reliable, direct reporting habits — able to flag problems to the CEO clearly and promptly.● Physically able to be on-site full time, walking the works multiple times a day in all site conditions.
Language● Fluent Russian speaker — able to communicate directly with Russian-speakingownership/stakeholders.● Working English required for daily reporting and coordination with the Resident Engineer and contractor teams.
