General Description<br><br>We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Sheet Piling & Shoring to take full ownership of specialist projects across Abu Dhabi.<br><br>The role is responsible for the complete project outcome, including safe delivery, programme, cost, revenue, margin, technical coordination, contract administration, client management and team performance. The Project Manager will also actively identify follow-on and cross-selling opportunities, making this a commercially focused role combining project delivery, contract management and client account development.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Lead sheet piling and shoring projects from handover and mobilisation through execution, commercial close-out and handover. Take ownership of project programme, budget, revenue, margin, resources, production and commercial performance. Direct Project Engineers, site teams and relevant internal functions, ensuring clear responsibilities, priorities and deadlines. Coordinate sheet piling/shoring activities with excavation, groundwater control/dewatering, ground anchors, temporary works, surveys, testing and other project interfaces. Understand approved designs, drawings, methods and sequencing in sufficient detail to clearly explain requirements to engineers, clients and consultants. Monitor production rates, cycle times, downtime, material usage and resource productivity and take corrective action where performance deviates from plan. Manage project-level contractual matters including instructions, variations, notices, certification, claims support and commercial follow-up. Build strong client relationships and actively identify additional, cross-sell and future project opportunities across ACTION’s service offering. Ensure full compliance with ACTION procedures, QHSE requirements, project controls and delegated authorities. Lead, coach and hold Project Engineers, supervisors and site teams accountable for delivery.<br><br>Requirements<br><br>Bachlor's or Master's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, Construction Engineering or a related discipline. Typically 8–12+ years of construction/engineering experience, including substantial specialist sheet piling and shoring experience. Minimum 3 years of end-to-end Project Manager responsibility for project delivery, commercial outcomes and client management. Strong practical knowledge of sheet piling installation, shoring systems, temporary works and associated excavation/groundwater interfaces. Proven experience managing project budgets, revenue, margins, forecasting, variations, certification and contract administration. Strong client-facing and commercial capability, including identifying and following up on additional project opportunities. Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary project/site teams and coordinating internal support functions. Working knowledge of FIDIC, NEC or similar contracts preferred. UAE/GCC project experience is advantageous.
