<p>The Senior Civil & Structural Engineer will be responsible for executing civil and structural engineering activities during the Engineering phase, including FEED and Detailed Engineering, for oil and gas projects. <span><strong>Job Summary</strong></span><p>NAFFCO is seeking a qualified and experienced <strong>Application Engineer – Oil & Gas</strong> to support the preparation of techno-commercial proposals for pump packages and firefighting systems within the Oil & Gas sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for technical bid evaluation, pump selection, proposal preparation, client coordination, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, international standards, and client requirements.</p><br><br><span><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span><ul><li><p>Review RFQs, inquiry packages, client specifications, datasheets, and tender documents to identify technical and commercial requirements.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Perform technical selection and sizing of <strong>centrifugal pumps, firefighting pumps, jockey pumps</strong>, and associated accessories based on project specifications.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, quotations, cost estimates, and technical submittals.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Evaluate project requirements and ensure compliance with client specifications, contractual obligations, and applicable international standards.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Prepare technical clarification documents, deviation lists, and responses to client queries during the bidding and proposal stages.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, Production, and Project teams to ensure accurate and timely proposal submissions.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Participate in technical clarification meetings with clients, consultants, EPC contractors, and third-party inspection agencies.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle, including pre-award and post-award activities whenever required.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain technical information, pricing, and compliance documentation.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Maintain technical records, proposal documentation, and project correspondence in accordance with company procedures.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Stay updated with Oil & Gas industry standards, client specifications, and emerging technologies related to pumping and firefighting systems.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Ensure all proposals are prepared in line with company quality standards and submission deadlines.</p><br><br></li></ul><span><strong>Qualifications</strong></span><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Minimum <strong>3–5 years</strong> of experience in application engineering, proposal engineering, or technical sales support within the <strong>Oil & Gas industry</strong>.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Experience in pump package selection and firefighting systems is highly preferred.</p><br><br></li></ul><span><strong>Technical Skills</strong></span><ul><li><p>Strong knowledge of <strong>centrifugal pumps, firefighting pumps, jockey pumps, diesel engine-driven pumps</strong>, and associated auxiliary systems.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Familiarity with <strong>NFPA 20</strong>, API standards, and other relevant international codes applicable to pump systems.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, specifications, datasheets, and tender documents.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Experience in preparing technical submittals, compliance statements, deviation lists, and techno-commercial proposals.</p><br><br></li><li><p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with AutoCAD and pump selection software will be an advantage.</p><br><br></li></ul>
