<h2 class="h5">Job description</h2> <div class="t-break" data-jb-field="description"> <span>Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Engineer with expertise in Mechanical Engineering for our dynamic team.<br> The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing various aspects of projects, with a primary focus on HVAC, Plumbing Drainage, and Fire Fighting Systems.<br> Responsibilities: · Analyze technical drawings, interpret specifications, and determine Mechanical requirements for assigned projects.<br> · Collaborate with other Engineers and Clients to ensure the seamless execution of projects.<br> · Coordinate with the Main Contractor to plan site activities effectively.<br> · Prepare comprehensive Shop drawings and follow up with the main contractor and Consultant for approval.<br> · Verify the HAP (Heat Load Calculation) and perform ESP calculation for Fans, as well as Pump head Calculations.<br> · Address and resolve issues with consultants and main contractors concerning submittals.<br> · Raise Request for Information (RFI) for any discrepancies or lack of information from Authority Approved Drawings.<br> · Arrange manpower in coordination with the Project Manager.<br> · Demonstrate a solid understanding of Chilled Water piping, ducting, water supply, drainage, and equipment installation (Chiller, FAHU, Fans, Pumps, FCU, etc.<br>), as well as knowledge in BMS, LPG, and Fire systems.<br> · Ensure adherence to health and safety codes throughout the project duration.<br> · Monitor and manage the availability of materials on site.<br> · Complete quality assurance on all mechanical components and documenting findings in detailed reports.<br> · Analyze and approve various construction and engineering plans.<br> · Diagnose problems and troubleshoot equipment as needed.<br> · Ensure all project deadlines and budgetary requirements are met.<br> · Stay informed about the latest developments in the field of Mechanical engineering.<br> · Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.<br> · 5-8 years of relevant experience in the MEP industry.<br> · Experience in project management.<br> · Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office applications.<br> · Sound understanding of health and safety regulations.<br> · Valid driver's license.<br> · Ability to make informed decisions under pressure.<br> · Excellent time management and diagnostic skills.<br> · Strong team player with a consistently professional demeanor.<br> · Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.<br></span> </div>

<ul><li>Manage the intake, handling, and storage of documentation.</li><li>Develop and implement processes for document control.</li><li>Ensure all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards.</li><li>Review and update documents as necessary.</li><li>Track and manage versions of documents.</li><li>Retrieve files as needed by company staff.</li><li>Securely back up and store documents.</li><li>Send emails and respond to all stakeholders regarding document-related inquiries and updates.</li><li>Write letters and coordinate with engineers for document-related purposes.</li><li>Respond to emails coming to the office and coordinate with engineers for further responses.</li><li>Ensure all documentation is discoverable and accessible.</li><li>Properly organize and categorize documents.</li><li>Coordinate with project teams to ensure all documents are accounted for and in the appropriate location.</li><li>Record, review, and distribute minutes of meetings.</li><li>Monitor regulatory activity to maintain compliance with records and document management laws.</li><li>Act as the site-based focal point for all project documentation and correspondence.</li><li>Maintain and control all site records, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.</li><li>Register, log, distribute, and follow up on incoming and outgoing project correspondence.</li><li>Coordinate closely with the Project Manager and Project Engineer to track document status and deadlines.</li><li>Ensure timely circulation of approved documents to site teams and relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Maintain site registers for drawings, submissions, RFIs, NCRs, and instructions.</li><li>Support contractual record-keeping by maintaining a complete and accurate document trail.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a relevant field such as Construction Management or engineering (preferred but not required).</li><li>Proven experience with document control software and systems.</li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Excellent organizational and time-management skills.</li><li>Familiarity with construction terminology, processes, and documentation.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and document management systems.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team.</li><li>Experience as a Site Document Controller on construction projects is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required.</li><li>Arabic language skills will be considered an advantage.</li></ul>
