Key Responsibilities :<br>Perform system safety engineering activities during the aircraft lifecycle, from system definition and development through verification, validation, and certification. Develop, update and maintain system safety assessments in accordance with applicable regulations, aerospace standards, and guidance, including:<br>Functional Hazard Assessments (FHA). Preliminary System Safety Assessments (PSSA). System Safety Assessments (SSA). Zonal Safety Assessments (ZSA). Particular Risk Assessments (PRA). Common Mode Analyses (CMA). Support flight test activities by providing system safety inputs, classifying occurrences according to their impact on safety, and contributing to the definition of mitigation actions. We are seeking a skilled and qualified Structural Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and analyzing structural systems, ensuring project compliance with applicable standards and codes, and delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You will play a key role in managing the technical aspects of various construction projects while collaborating with stakeholders to meet budget, timeline, and performance goals.<br>Objectives of the Role:Apply structural engineering expertise to fulfill project requirements and exceed stakeholder expectations. Ensure all designs comply with local and international building codes and quality standards. Deliver structurally sound and efficient design solutions. Track and monitor project timelines and budgets. Provide guidance on best practices in structural design and construction execution. Knowledge in structural strengthening and concrete rehabilitation Key Responsibilities:Analyze project requirements and conduct detailed structural calculations. Design structural elements using engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, Idea Statica, RAM, STAAD, and others. Perform code-based checks using standards such as ACI, ASCE, British Standards, and Eurocodes. Ability to model structures and assignments as per UAE building codes Establish design criteria aligned with project scope and applicable codes. Recommend appropriate construction materials and implement safety best practices. Manage design documentation and maintain an organized database of project progress. Review and provide feedback on shop drawings and coordinate with drafting and construction teams. Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to assess structural integrity and compliance. Required Skills and Qualifications:5 to 10 years experience as structural design engineer Strong foundation in structural analysis and design principles. Proficient in using structural engineering software tools. In-depth understanding of construction materials, methods, and code requirements. Strong drafting and detailing capabilities. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Effective communication skills and a collaborative work approach. Ability to handle multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
