Job Purpose<br>The role holder is responsible for directing the operational performance and delivery of the construction-project portfolio by establishing operational priorities, governance frameworks and performance standards across all projects. The role holder oversees Project Directors and project leadership teams, resolves portfolio-level resource and delivery constraints, and ensures projects collectively achieve approved commercial, programme, quality, safety and contractual objectives. Reviews and approves high-level construction methodologies, sequencing strategies, temporary works and other critical technical proposals. Ensures timely coordination of design information, technical submittals, shop drawings, materials and approvals in line with project programmes. Directs value-engineering and constructability reviews to improve cost, quality, safety and programme performance without compromising contractual requirements.<br>Planning & Project Controls Oversees project planning, scheduling, resource optimisation and recovery strategies to maintain programme performance and proactively mitigate delays. Promotes a culture of operational excellence, quality and safety by ensuring effective audits, inspections, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives across all projects.<br>Operational Governance & Performance Establishes operational governance frameworks, monitor project risks and implement mitigation measures to safeguard project delivery, business continuity and organizational objectives. Wood is seeking an experienced PMC Lead QA/QC Engineer to lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for a major ADNOC Offshore PMC assignment. The role will be responsible for ensuring that project engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, installation, commissioning and handover activities are executed in accordance with ADNOC requirements, approved project specifications, international standards and the project Quality Management System. The successful candidate will provide senior QA/QC leadership across the PMC organization and coordinate closely with ADNOC, EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors and Wood project management and engineering teams.<br>Key Responsibilities Lead the PMC QA/QC function and provide overall quality leadership throughout the project lifecycle. (Preferable)</span><br><span>Knowledge of design, fabrication, metallurgy, welding, and standards associated with the inspection of Plants’equipment.</span><br><span>Comprehensive knowledge of inspection best practices and technology trends.</span><br><span>Planning and organising, scheduling and co-ordinating, checking, examining and recording.</span><br><span>Knowledge of relevant HSE procedures and practices.</span><br><span>Knowledge of rotating equipment including: compressors, pumps, turbine generators, and packaged skid equipment(Preferable).</span><br><span>Professional Certifications</span><br><span>Valid Plant Inspector, API 510, API 570, and API 653 or an equivalent qualification.</span><br><span>Valid CSWIP/AWS or equivalent qualification. (Preferable)</span><br><span>Valid NDT Level 2 qualification for UT, MT, PT, RT or an equivalent qualification. (Preferable)</span><br><span>Valid Level-1 Coating Inspector qualification.
