About the Company:
Our client is an established infrastructure contractor specialising in water, sewage and associated civil infrastructure works across the UAE. Due to continued company growth, new projects and contract awards, they are looking to appoint an experienced Planning Engineer to support their wet utilities and infrastructure projects in Abu Dhabi.
Position Overview:
This position requires an established Planning Engineer with strong experience across wet utilities and infrastructure projects, alongside the ability to independently develop and manage project programmes using Primavera P6.
Working closely with project managers, engineering and construction teams, you will take responsibility for developing project schedules, monitoring progress and ensuring effective planning and programme control throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Programme Development: Independently develop comprehensive project programmes from initial planning through to completion using Primavera P6.
• Planning & Scheduling: Establish project timelines, construction sequences, resource requirements and critical path activities.
• Progress Monitoring: Monitor actual progress against approved programmes, identify delays and recommend corrective actions to maintain project schedules.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare progress reports, programme updates, look-ahead schedules and delay analysis for project management and client review.
