Coordinate with Material Organization/FTM on Part Basic set-up.</li><li>Co-ordinate all Ship Shop Ship(S/S/S), Tasks 2 and repair orders to ensure they will be returned to the aircraft in accordance with the required dates per the workflow plan or substitute parts are sourced.</li><li>Ensure all S/S/S or tasks 2 parts are dispatched with all required information listed.</li><li>Ensure all relevant stake holders are kept updated on the materials status for the check, especially any items which may impact on the workflow of the input.</li><li>Provide appropriate daily reports to the Production Planning Engineers and production teams.</li><li>Monitor the actual material issues the Check Budget and provide feedback to the production team on opportunities to reduce the materials cost including working with the production team to return unused parts.</li><li>Coordinate the Robbery activity for assigned events, ensuring robbery messages are sent and robbed parts are processed through the virtual robbery store to control R Class costs.</li><li>Co-ordinate all materials related closure actions at the end of each input including:<br>a. DBNU clean-up and feedback to the planning organisation for future DBNU reduction.<br>b.Review the materials spend in terms of parts, quantity & cost at the end of each input and provide recommendations on future stock levels, contingency spares orders and unusual order patterns.</li><li>Deliver and supervise the check work package preparation and compilation process for assigned events, from handover of a package by CAMO to the handover of it to the production team. Continuously update the work pack as supplements are added or tasks withdrawn.</li><li>Conduct technical review of the tasks which could be called up by Maintenance Planning to ensure the following is identified: task intent, special requirements (jacking, defueling, repairs, shop input, test flights etc.) dependencies, materials required, tooling required, new supporting task cards required and any other information which will aid the planning process. Ensure all issues identified as part of the technical review process are followed up with the concerned departments and resolved prior to the start of each input</li><li>Ensure segregation of work packages into working zones/trades as per the work flow plan for proper and smooth execution of maintenance input prior to each event. Ensure the work pack is displayed in the production area as required.</li><li>Actively work on DBNU reduction for routine tasks by working with the materials coordinators to identify route causes and do the necessary adjustment to the spares set up on the tasks to ensure DBNU is minimized. Adjust MQs in UM to match the daily plan of tasks.</li><li>Receive and complete audit of all paperwork prior to CRS and ensure it conforms to all EPM and quality requirements. Any paperwork failing audit to be returned to Production for correction and logged for error reporting.</li><li>Complete all IT systems transactions including tasks status tracking in the 145 task tracking system, task card closure and work pack closure in UM. Generate a post check completion report and distribute to all relevant parties and dispatch completed work packs to Technical Records.</li><li>Creation of Maintenance facilitation procedures/tasks as required to support the planned maintenance execution.</li><li>Produce a detailed man-hours (MH) estimate for each assigned event to support the workflow and manpower planning process.</li><li>Highlight first time tasks, tasks with high task & access man-hours, expected defects from historical trend and other tasks impacting production work flow plan as part of the detailed Estimate Report for every check input.</li><li>Keep the estimation database up to date with each new task on Emirates fleet broken down as per task steps, trade wise estimated MH with concurrent task requirements and access panels.</li><li>Perform defect analysis for completed inputs in terms of Non-Routine estimation taking into consideration check type, aircraft type, age, and in service issues to determine technical impact for future layovers.</li><li>Post each completed input produce the man-hour analysis in terms of clocking/ man-hour utilization.</li><li>Review Feedback Discrepancies of Production Planning to support teams/departments of EK Engineering in terms of documentation discrepancies, man-hours, as well as initiating developmental change in AMM and other manuals of related EK Fleet.</li><li>Ensure all the planned work is packaged, segregated into daily activities and provided to production. <p>The Human Data Interaction Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint a Senior Research Engineer to support and lead the design, development, evaluation, and dissemination of novel systems and tools for decision-making support. The position is intended for a highly experienced researcher and systems builder with strong technical independence, excellent software engineering practices, and a demonstrated ability to translate research ideas into robust, reproducible, and usable tools.</p><br><br>
<p>The successful candidate must be available to start immediately and should bring a minimum of six years of relevant research experience, together with at least a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction, Artificial Intelligence, Data Systems, or a closely related field.</p><br><br>
<p>HuDa Lab examines data and decision-making from a tooling and systems-building perspective. The lab designs and builds systems that support decision-making across a variety of domains, including disinformation mitigation, collaborative decision-making, interactive data exploration, and optimization problems in uncertain environments such as stock portfolio optimization. The lab does not specialize in applied data science projects or computational social science research. Candidates whose primary interest is applied data science rather than building tools, systems, and research prototypes for data-driven decision-making are encouraged to consider opportunities in other labs.</p><br><br>
<p>The Senior Research Engineer will be expected to contribute intellectually and technically to ongoing and new research projects. This includes designing and implementing research-grade systems, developing algorithms and interfaces, conducting simulations and comparative performance evaluations, designing and running user studies, maintaining high-quality code and data artifacts, and preparing research outputs for publication and presentation.
