About Dolphin Dolphin Oilfield Equipment Services is an Abu Dhabi (Mussafah) industrial services company serving ADNOC group companies, EGA, Borouge and other oil & gas, power and industrial clients across the UAE. We manufacture, service and retube heat exchangers, execute EPC-stage site works, and deliver shutdown and turnaround maintenance campaigns onshore and offshore.
The Role We are hiring a Junior Planning Engineer to run project scheduling in Primavera P6: build schedules with our engineers, update them weekly with real site progress, and produce the S-curves and progress reports our projects and invoicing run on. You will be trained inside our planning system and supported by senior engineers — we expect P6 capability and discipline, not ten years of experience.
What You Will Do• Build and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6 (WBS, logic, calendars, baselines) from engineer inputs.• Run the weekly progress-update cycle across live projects; collect progress data from site engineers.• Produce S-curves, manpower histograms and progress measurement supporting client reports and invoicing.• Resource-load schedules and issue two-week look-aheads to site teams.• Flag slippage against baseline early with clear variance notes.• Support tender-stage schedules with our estimation team.• Maintain planning templates and the schedule library.
What We Are Looking For• B. Eng. or engineering diploma (mechanical, industrial or civil preferred).• Hands-on Primavera P6 capability — training certificate plus real use, 1–3 years' exposure.• Solid understanding of WBS, activity logic, baselines and percent-complete methods.• Competent Excel; English adequate for progress reporting. Preferred / a plus:• Oil & gas, EPC or construction exposure; shutdown/turnaround environment.• MS Project, earned-value basics, Power BI.
What We Offer• A real planning desk with responsibility from week one — your schedules drive live ADNOC-ecosystem projects, not filing.• Training and direct mentoring by senior engineers and management; a defined growth path in planning and estimation.• Competitive salary and benefits per UAE labour law; immediate start preferred.
Working Pattern — Read Before Applying Office-based in Mussafah with a fixed weekly schedule-update rhythm; site visits for progress verification; busier during shutdown seasons. Not a remote role. How to Apply Apply through this platform with an updated CV, or send your CV to recruitment@dolphin.ae with the subject "Junior Planning Engineer". Candidates available in the UAE with transferable visas will be prioritised; immediate joiners preferred.
