Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and procurement teams, monitoring progress, and updating plans to reflect actual site conditions. The role involves analyzing resource requirements, preparing production plans, tracking project milestones, and supporting project control activities such as reporting, risk identification, and performance evaluation. Oversee foundation systems, excavation, retaining structures, slope stability, ground improvement, and earthworks. Review geotechnical reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical submissions. Coordinate with civil, structural, architectural, and construction teams, as well as contractors and consultants. Assess ground conditions, geotechnical risks, settlement, stability, and construction challenges. Ensure projects comply with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, quality, safety, cost, and schedules. Provide technical guidance and mentor geotechnical engineers and project teams.
