<p><h4>Position statement:</h4>
<p>The Revenue Accounting Specialist is responsible for providing revenue accounting services to a portfolio of assigned hotels across the Middle East and Africa supported by the UAE Finance Centre of Excellence (COE). The UAE COE is a shared service center based in Ras Al Khaimah, delivering centralized finance support to approximately 60 hotels across the region. The role ensures accuracy, consistency, and compliance with Hilton standards, while working closely with hotel teams remotely. The role reports to the Revenue Accounting Supervisor.</p>
<h4>Position summary:</h4>
<ul>
<li>Reviewing and validating all revenue postings and preparing daily income audit reports for assigned hotels</li>
<li>Reviewing and approving reports within the daily income audit bundle and following up with hotel teams to ensure all required documentation is uploaded to Docuware and approvals are in place</li>
<li>Posting revenue and processing re-allocations based on requests from authorized finance leads for assigned properties</li>
<li>Reconciling revenue-related taxes and ensuring timely reporting to hotels for submission to government authorities</li>
<li>Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for revenue-related accounts across assigned hotels</li>
<li>Reconciling daily credit card activity and posting related receipts</li>
<li>Investigating and resolving variances in credit card reconciliations in collaboration with COE and hotel teams</li>
<li>Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation to drive efficiency and standardization across supported hotels</li>
<li>Supporting additional tasks and initiatives as required by business needs</li>
</ul>

<h4>The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:</h4>

<li>Accounting knowledge, with a focus on revenue accounting principles</li>
<li>Familiarity with finance systems such as Navision, OnQ/OA and strong working knowledge of Excel</li>
<li>Fluent in English (written and verbal); additional languages such as French or Arabic are an advantage</li>
<li>Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with hotel teams and internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Process improvement mindset, with a continuous focus on identifying more efficient ways of working and opportunities for automation</li>
<li>Inquisitive and proactive, with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and challenge existing practices</li>

<li>Answer calls for pick-up of trays and/or tables and direct bus persons to retrieve items.</li>
<li>Respond to guest complaints in a positive manner, negotiate a compromise, and implement solutions.</li>

You will focus on creating opportunities for various Designing and Prepress aspects, such as resource optimization, cost reduction, Innovation and technological advancement, efficiency improvement, customer engagement, quality control & assurance, market research and trends, team’s building and process automation. Role is focused on various strategic aspects of the business, contributing to its success and competitiveness This position is a blend of technical expertise, creative vision, and effective leadership to drive success.</p><br><p>The position is responsible for resource planning and optimization, review and establish plans and strategies to uplift the department, training and mentoring the team, product development & Innovation support, implementing and directing the production activities of the company in a designated area to achieve the department objectives. Leading the team by establishing goals and monitoring the growth and progress reports which is essential in determining potentials of the team in designing and prepress improvement.
