<p>The HVAC TAB Technician is responsible for performing testing, adjusting, and balancing of HVAC systems to ensure optimal airflow, pressure, and thermal performance in accordance with project specifications, standards, and design requirements.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><br><p>TAB Technician – Qualification Requirements</p><ul><li><p><strong>Education:</strong> ITI, Diploma, or Technical Certificate in Mechanical/HVAC/Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning or equivalent.</p></li><li><p><strong>Experience:</strong> 2–3 years’ practical experience in HVAC Testing, Adjusting & Balancing (TAB).</p></li><li><p><strong>Air-Side TAB:</strong> Hands-on knowledge of airflow measurement and balancing of AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, fans, VAV/CAV systems, grilles and diffusers.</p></li><li><p><strong>Water-Side TAB:</strong> Knowledge of chilled-water flow measurement and balancing for AHUs, FCUs, PICVs, DRVs, pumps and related systems.</p></li><li><p><strong>TAB Instruments:</strong> Proficient in using balometers, anemometers, Pitot tubes, manometers, differential-pressure meters, tachometers and clamp meters.</p></li><li><p><strong>Measurements:</strong> Ability to measure and record airflow, water flow, pressure, RPM, voltage, current, temperature and equipment performance.</p></li><li><p><strong>System Adjustment:</strong> Ability to adjust dampers, VCDs, PICVs, DRVs and other balancing devices to achieve design flow.</p></li><li><p><strong>Technical Knowledge:</strong> Ability to read HVAC drawings, equipment schedules, submittals and TAB test sheets.</p></li><li><p><strong>Reporting:</strong> Ability to accurately record site readings and prepare basic TAB reports and inspection sheets.</p></li><li><p><strong>Inspection & Troubleshooting:</strong> Able to support consultant/client inspections and identify basic airflow, water-flow, pressure and equipment performance issues.</p></li><li><p><strong>Safety:</strong> Knowledge of HSE, PPE, LOTO, work-at-height requirements and safe use of TAB equipment.</p></li><li><p><strong>Communication:</strong> Basic English communication skills for site coordination and reporting.</p></li><li><p><strong>Driving Licence:</strong> UAE driving licence preferred.</p></li><li><p><strong>Additional Advantage:</strong> Experience with ultrasonic water-flow measurement and duct leakage testing is an advantage.</p></li></ul>

4.\tPRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:\n\n•\tDaily contacts with work associates and operations personnel up to both US Oil & Gas Production Team Leaders level to discuss production plan targets, production plant operating activities and operating procedures.\n\n•\tDaily contacts with Maintenance personnel within oil and gas operation team up to Supervisor level for implementation, co-ordination and progress of maintenance activities.\n\n•\tDaily contacts with Production (Field) Team personnel up to Supervisor level to discuss field wells availability and operation.\n\n•\tOccasional contacts with work associates in US asset up to Engineer level to discuss engineering requirements and co-ordinate work activities.\n\n•\tOccasional contact with personnel in commercial division at equivalent level to discuss Chemicals requirements.\n\n•\tOccasional contact with personnel in Store division at equivalent level to follow up material requisitions, and chemicals supply.\n\n•\tWorks according to specialized technical standards, and ADNOC established procedures and HSE standards, using own initiative, judgment in adjusting plant conditions – particularly in emergency situations.\n•\tSupervision: Directs, control and supervises the activities of assigned personnel involved in operating the oil and gas cluster production, including starting up / shutting down the gas and oil treatment units and gas production wells, first line maintenance, housekeeping…etc.\n\n•\tOperation Activities: (i) Monitors and supervises through the Local Control Room facilities the operation of crude and gas production/treatment and to meet the Company’s targets in terms of quality and quantity. (ii) Supervise the preparations oil & gas clusters equipment for routine, break down and planned maintenance activities as per established procedures. (iii) Trouble-shoots minor operation problems and reports major problems and emergencies to US Production (Oil) Team Leader and Production (Gas) Team Leader with proposed solutions. (iv) Evaluate daily pertaining equipment performance, prepares production reports and recommends to Team Leader for improvement.\n\n•\tWork Control: (i) Supervise and personally participate in preparing the plant /equipment for maintenance work. (ii) Issues hot, cold and entry work permits and isolation Confirmation Certificates for all routine planned and break down maintenance work. (iii) Supervise and personally participate in re-commissioning of the plant to ensure safe and efficient. (iv) Monitor and evaluates the reliability of plant equipment and plant performance. (v) Ensure availability of spares and chemicals stocks including review of chemicals and material inventories, maintaining adequate stock and issuing material requisitions.\n\n•\tAct in Emergency Response duties as On-Scene Commander of his respective area.\n\n•\tOther Related Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by Team Leader such as:\n(i)\tTaking part in training / developing new recruits / UAE National Employees / Developees, implementing orientation programs and preparing necessary reports.
