Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.<br><br>What are we looking for?<br><br>Chief Engineer (STCW III/2) or equivalent maritime qualification, with at least 5 years' experience as a senior engineering officer (Second Engineer or above). Minimum 10 years' experience within the maritime industry. Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, marine engineering systems, maintenance, repairs, and applicable industry standards. Experience in vessel damage assessments, casualty investigations, repair management, and technical reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports and manage stakeholder relationships. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Previous experience in marine consultancy, surveying, or technical advisory services is advantageous. Shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, Ship Repair Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar role is desirable.
