Job Purpose Provide legal counsel and advisory services to the management of Offshore & Marine Services and to the senior management at Maritime & Shipping Cluster on all business matters involving its legal, governance, compliance and corporate affairs. Regional Legal Counsel, MENA<br>Role Overview Reporting to and working closely with the Regional Legal Director, the Regional Legal Counsel provides broad legal support across corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters throughout the MENA region. This is a hands-on, in-house role suited to a commercially minded lawyer who can manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, international environment.<br>Key Responsibilities Support the Regional Legal Director in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation, contracts, and correspondence. Review and maintain corporate records, including memoranda and articles of association, trade licenses, resolutions, and documentation relating to director and shareholder changes, amendments, and similar filings. ADGM Courts are comprised of a Court of First Instance and a Court of Appeal. The Court of First Instance hears and determines civil and commercial claims or disputes falling within Article 13 of ADGM’s Founding Law, Abu Dhabi Law No.4 of 2013 (as amended by Law No.12 of 2020). These include disputes involving ADGM’s entities and those which parties agree in their commercial contracts are to be submitted to ADGM Courts.
