Render expert legal advisory to leadership and across organization on corporate governance, regulatory, and statutory compliances on laws, rules, regulations, and legislations. Establish benchmarked strategies, practices, initiatives, and interventions on legal policies, procedures, and processes.<br>Provide legal counsel and guidance on institutional governance matters, contract reviews, interpretation and application of contractual obligations, audit, business, operation, and risk resolutions, manage disputes, arbitration, and litigations.<br>Represent with relevant Ministries, government bodies, legal entities, manage lawsuits, cases, public prosecution, court submissions, and appeals. Regional Legal Counsel, MENA<br>Role Overview Reporting to and working closely with the Regional Legal Director, the Regional Legal Counsel provides broad legal support across corporate, commercial, governance, and compliance matters throughout the MENA region. This is a hands-on, in-house role suited to a commercially minded lawyer who can manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, international environment.<br>Key Responsibilities Support the Regional Legal Director in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of legal documentation, contracts, and correspondence. Review and maintain corporate records, including memoranda and articles of association, trade licenses, resolutions, and documentation relating to director and shareholder changes, amendments, and similar filings. Draft and execute documents relating to legal due diligence, new corporate entity formations, and corporate restructuring (including dissolutions), and provide support on standard corporate and commercial agreements, including bilingual NDAs, contracts, and related administrative documentation. <p>We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the Abu Dhabi office of a leading international law firm.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-level legal and administrative support to senior legal professionals within a fast-paced, transactional practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional secretarial support, managing complex billing processes, producing high-quality legal documentation and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy legal team.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive legal secretarial and administrative support to senior lawyers.
2. Manage busy and ever-changing diaries, meetings, conference calls and domestic and international travel arrangements.
