<p>About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to work directly alongside the Chief Operating Officer of a rapidly scaling AI compute and GPU infrastructure business operating across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa.
This is not a traditional executive assistant role. The successful candidate will serve as the COO’s trusted right hand, acting as an extension of his office and ensuring that priorities are executed efficiently, communications are managed effectively, and the business continues to operate at pace.
The ideal candidate is highly organised, commercially astute, discreet, and capable of independently driving outcomes. They will have a complete understanding of what is happening across the COO’s world at any given moment and possess the judgement to make decisions, solve problems, and keep initiatives moving forward with minimal supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Executive Office Management
Manage the COO’s inbox as the primary gatekeeper and operator, reviewing all inbound communications and responding directly where appropriate.
Draft, coordinate and send correspondence on behalf of the COO, ensuring responses are timely, professional and aligned with his priorities and decision-making style.
Escalate only those matters that genuinely require the COO’s input, while independently resolving the remainder.
Ensure actions, commitments and follow-ups are tracked and completed.
Calendar, Meetings & Travel
Own and manage the COO’s calendar, ensuring priorities are reflected in scheduling decisions.
Coordinate meetings across multiple geographies and time zones.
Organise complex international travel arrangements, often at short notice.
Prepare briefing materials, agendas and follow-up actions for key meetings.
Ensure the COO’s time is utilised effectively and that commitments are executed seamlessly.
Commercial & Strategic Support
Support the COO across strategic initiatives, partnerships, investments and commercial opportunities.
Review deal materials, financial models and transaction documentation with sufficient understanding to identify key commercial drivers, risks and decision points.
Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to drive projects to completion.
Track critical business priorities and ensure accountability across teams.
Stakeholder Management
Act as a highly credible representative of the COO when engaging with investors, partners, customers and counterparties.
Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
Maintain a professional and polished presence in meetings and interactions, often serving as the first point of contact.
AI-Enabled Productivity
Leverage leading AI tools, including Claude, ChatGPT and related technologies, to improve productivity, accelerate decision-making and streamline workflows.
Identify opportunities to embed AI into executive operations and business processes.</p><p>Essential
Significant experience in a Chief of Staff, Executive Office, Strategy, Operations, Investment, Consulting, Corporate Development or similarly demanding role.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong commercial judgement and business acumen.
Ability to manage competing priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Comfortable reviewing financial models and commercial analyses, with the ability to identify key issues and implications without necessarily building the models.
Proven ability to engage confidently with senior executives, investors and external stakeholders.
High levels of discretion, integrity and professional judgement.
Genuine proficiency with modern AI tools, particularly Claude and ChatGPT.
Based in Dubai, or willing to relocate, with the flexibility to travel internationally at short notice.
Personal Attributes
Calm under pressure and highly dependable.
Naturally proactive and resourceful.
Strong problem-solver with a bias toward action.
Able to anticipate needs before they arise.
Low ego, high ownership mentality.
Comfortable operating with significant autonomy and responsibility.
Capable of balancing strategic thinking with meticulous execution.</p>

<p><strong>About Jackpot Technologies</strong></p><br><br><br><p>Jackpot Technologies is a fast-growing company in the online gaming sector. We operate jackpot.studio, our B2B games division that builds in-house games and licenses them to casino operators globally. Our portfolio includes classics like Dice, Blackjack, and Plinko, and originals like Top Dollar, Dr Pump, and Cases. We are a small, agile team that moves quickly and takes real pride in our work. Every game that ships carries our name, which means craft and follow-through are paramount.</p><br><br><br><p><strong>The role</strong></p><br><br><br><p>Casino games live or die on feel, and in the browser, feel is everything. You will build real games in Phaser.js, from the core loop and the reels to the win sequences, the particle FX, and the exact moment a payout lands. These are web games we license to operators worldwide, so they have to load fast, run buttery smooth on every device, hold a rock-solid 60fps, and feel as good as anything in the app stores, without ever leaving the browser. You will care as much about timing, easing, and draw calls, as you do about clean code. A win should feel like a win.</p><br><br><br><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><br><br><br><ul><li>Build casino games end to end in Phaser.js and TypeScript: game loop, rendering, state, math integration, and UI.</li><li>Bring mechanics to life with precise timing and feel, from slot reels and multiplier curves to card, dice, and wheel games.</li><li>Build the juice: win animations, particle FX, screen transitions, and big-win celebrations, using Phaser's animation and particle systems alongside custom shaders where needed.</li><li>Integrate game math, RNG, and real-time outcomes from our backend, with deterministic, verifiable results.</li><li>Hit 60fps on a wide range of devices, from low-end Android browsers to desktop. Profile render performance, eliminate draw call and texture bottlenecks, and optimize asset loading and bundle size.</li><li>Implement responsive layouts across portrait and landscape, phone, tablet, and desktop, with multi-language and multi-currency support.</li><li>Drive custom rendering with WebGL shaders or Pixi-level techniques when the standard Phaser toolkit is not enough.</li><li>Partner with artists, animators, designers, and backend so each game ships as one polished piece.</li><li>Build reusable systems and a shared game framework so the next title ships faster.</li></ul><br><p><strong>What you will bring</strong></p><br><br><br><ul><li>3+ years building production web games or interactive web apps, with strong Phaser.js and TypeScript depth and titles you have shipped live.</li><li>A strong grasp of game loops, frame timing, and rendering performance in the browser.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Phaser's scene, sprite, tween, and particle systems, plus comfort dropping into raw WebGL or shaders when needed.</li><li>Animation chops: Phaser tweens and timelines, spine or skeletal animation a plus, sound-synced FX a plus.</li><li>Solid architecture and state management that scales across many titles, built for fast reuse rather than one-off builds.</li><li>Performance profiling in Chrome DevTools, and a clear sense of how to keep load times and memory footprint low on constrained devices.</li><li>Real-time integration: websockets, deterministic outcomes, and graceful reconnection.</li><li>A real respect for timing. You can explain why your 18-frame easing feels better than the 12-frame version.</li><li>Fluent with modern AI coding tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor) in your daily workflow. You use them to move faster without sacrificing quality or control.</li><li>A fast, reliable production cadence. You plan your work, hit your dates, and do not leave messes for the next person.</li></ul><br><p><strong>Bonus points</strong></p><br><br><br><ul><li>Built slot or casino games before, and understand RTP, volatility, and certification constraints.</li><li>Game math, RNG, or remote game server (RGS) integration experience.</li><li>Deep WebGL, GLSL shader, or custom renderer work.</li><li>Experience with Pixi.js or another HTML5 canvas engine alongside Phaser.</li><li>Sound-led animation instincts. You animate to audio and it shows.</li><li>Built a shared game framework or design system that sped up a whole team.</li></ul><br><p><strong>Tools you will work with</strong></p><br><br><br><p><strong>Daily: Phaser.js, TypeScript, WebGL, Figma, Git</strong></p><br><br><p><strong>Often: Pixi.js, GLSL, REST and websockets, Chrome DevTools</strong></p><br><br><p><strong>Bonus: Spine, Howler.js, build tooling (Vite, Webpack)</strong></p><br><br><br><p>How we work</p><br><br><br><p>We care equally about quality and velocity. The best people on our team use modern tools as a multiplier, not a shortcut. AI has changed how great engineering teams operate, and we expect everyone we hire to be on the front edge of that change.</p><br><br><br><ul><li>Fluent with AI tools as part of your daily craft. You know which tools help, which do not, and when a hand-written solution still wins.</li><li>Stay on top of the ecosystem. New engine versions, new patterns, new tooling. You read, you try things, you do not wait for someone to tell you the platform moved.</li><li>Use that fluency to ship higher quality work faster, not to cut corners. Craft comes first. AI is the lever, not the product.</li><li>Share what you learn. If you find a workflow that saves the team two days a week, write it up.</li></ul><br><p><strong>Why you might like it here</strong></p><br><br><br><ul><li>You ship real games to real players, not pitch decks. Our titles run live with operators worldwide, so your work reaches actual players fast.</li><li>We are early. You will have real ownership of how our games are built and real influence on the tech and the feel.</li><li>We do not believe in slide-deck culture. If you like building more than meeting, you will fit.</li><li>Dubai base, international team, healthy pace. We work hard, we deliver, we go home.</li></ul><br><p><strong>Compensation and benefits</strong></p><br><br><br><ul><li>Monthly salary: AED 12,000 to AED 20,000, dependent on experience</li><li>A key role in a fast-moving, fast-growing iGaming company where your work ships and real players see it</li><li>A collaborative engineering environment where your contributions have direct, visible impact</li><li>On-site in Dubai with a small, craft-obsessed team</li></ul><br>
