The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing complex piping replacement, shutdown, and SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) works — including specialized piping systems, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and schedule adherence to project:<br>Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end construction execution for EPC projects, from mobilization through mechanical completion and handover. Manage mechanical and piping construction scopes including fabrication, installation, testing (hydrotest/NDT), and reinstatement of process piping systems. Plan and supervise construction activities under SIMOPS conditions, ensuring safe execution alongside live plant operations with minimal disruption to production. Develop and implement plant shutdown/turnaround construction plans, coordinating scope, resources, and sequencing to meet tight shutdown windows. Oversee corrosion mitigation works, including pipe spool replacement, patch plate installations, and integrity restoration on process and utility systems (e.g., cooling water, relief/drain systems, recycle lines). Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and codes/standards (e.g., ASME, API) across all construction activities; enforce permit-to-work, isolation, and confined space procedures in live plant environments. Coordinate with Engineering, QA/QC, HSE, Operations, and subcontractor teams to resolve field issues and maintain project schedule and budget. Supervise site supervisors, foremen, QC inspectors, and craft labor; manage subcontractor performance and productivity. Review and approve method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), risk assessments (JSA/HIRA), and work permits prior to execution. Monitor progress against baseline schedule, report on productivity, manpower, and material status; escalate risks and implement corrective actions. Participate in MOC (Management of Change), incident investigations, and lessons-learned reviews. Ensure proper documentation, as-built records, and handover packages (mechanical completion / RFSU dossiers) are compiled and submitted. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent industry experience). Minimum 10–15 years of construction management experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial EPC projects. Proven track record of managing mechanical & piping construction on live/operational plants and brownfield sites. Direct hands-on experience with high-alloy piping systems — fabrication, welding coordination, installation, and testing. Demonstrated experience executing works under SIMOPS and individual train / total plant shutdowns. Experience with corrosion mitigation and pipe integrity restoration methods, including patch plate repairs and pipe spool replacement. Strong working knowledge of relevant international codes and standards (ASME B31.3, API, ASTM, etc.). Solid understanding of permit-to-work systems, isolation procedures, and HSE management in high-hazard industrial environments. Experience working on major offshore/onshore oil & gas assets (e.g., island plants, offshore production facilities) is highly desirable. Strong leadership, planning, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams under pressure. Proficiency with project scheduling tools (Primavera P6/MS Project) and reporting systems. Valid safety certifications (NEBOSH/IOSH or equivalent) preferred. Preferred / Relevant Project Exposure Candidates with prior exposure to the following types of works will be strongly considered:Replacement of critical Inconel pipework under individual train shutdowns (e.g., process/relief systems).
