Primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) systems and equipment for onsite MPD applications. Provide operational guidance to the operations team for the operation of the managed pressure drilling system, specialty riser joints, umbilical reels, control skids, manifolds and other associated equipment; deploy running, retrieving, and testing tools and any other equipment associated with the MPD system. Ensure all evolutions of the MPD operation are performed safely and within the limitations of the equipment.
