What you’ll do:
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for automated systems, including preventive, predictive and corrective approaches for PLC-controlled machines, robotics and integrated production equipment.
Drive reliability improvement of automation systems, analyzing downtime, MTBF and MTTR, identifying failure modes in electrical, control and mechatronic systems, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Lead structured root cause analysis (RCA, A3, 5 Why) for automation, control and system integration issues, ensuring sustainable elimination of recurring failures.
Own performance of control and automation systems, including:
a) PLC-controlled equipment
b) Robotic systems
c) HMI and industrial control systems
Define and optimize maintenance plans and standards for electrical and mechatronic systems, including inspection routines, monitoring of critical components and lifecycle management.
Drive continuous improvement of automation solutions, optimizing control logic, system integration and machine performance in collaboration with production and engineering teams.
Support and optimize PLC, safety controllers and HMI systems, ensuring robust operation, system stability and alignment with production requirements.
Lead integration and optimization of robotic systems and automation components into existing production processes, ensuring compatibility, reliability and performance.
Define and deploy predictive maintenance approaches for automation systems, leveraging system data, diagnostics and failure trends to reduce unplanned downtime.
Support commissioning and industrialization of automated equipment, ensuring system robustness, maintainability and readiness for serial production.
Standardize maintenance processes, documentation and control strategies, including technical specifications, system documentation and troubleshooting guidelines.
Provide technical leadership to maintenance technicians, supporting complex troubleshooting of electrical, automation and control-related issues without taking ownership of execution.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including engineers, toolmakers and OEM partners for system optimization, upgrades and technical issue resolution.</p><p>Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in preferably electrical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or a similar qualification
Min 2 years of experience in industrial automation
Knowledge of Cam-controlled machines like: Bihler (prefered), Wafios, Finzer
High-speed automatic assembly lines like: Stiwa, PIA, Festo, Omron, B&R, DA Automation
Skills:
Arburg or Engel machine for 1 and 2 component tools and molding infrastructure e.g. centry drying system (Wittmann), machine and tool cooling
Experienced in CAD, SPS, HMI-Systems, circuit diagram understanding for electric, pneumatic and hydraulic; advantageous: programming skills
Quick comprehension, independent working style, abilty to work in teams, strong communication skills, continous learning, willingness to work shifts

<p>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </p><br>
<p>Carries out safe handling, unloading/loading of cylinders and other materials to /from vehicles. Counts the cylinders in stacks and in vehicles. Identifies the cylinders and segregates them by the indicators of size, filled, empty, manufactured, retest date, abnormalities. Takes care of sealing, stencilling, labelling, leak check and filling of cylinders. Handles decanting of cylinders as well as hydro-testing, punching, valve fixing and removal activities. Identifies, segregates, and fills cylinders as per procedure. Ensures cylinders are filled within accepted tolerance. Carries out all jobs as advised by the Shift Supervisor including general cleaning, housekeeping, and washing of cylinders. Assists in equipment maintenance and does painting of cylinders, pipelines, equipment, and vehicles. Participate in internal trainings and briefing and gain knowledge about all products and their safe handling practices. Observes all safety norms and carries out his duties in accordance with prescribed safety procedures. Ensures that workplace hazards are reported to the Shift Supervisor/Plant Manager.
