Join us.<br><br>Job Description<br><br>The RE leads the site team and manages the scope of services to ensure all site activities comply with construction documents and specifications. The RE also coordinates with relevant authorities and clients on site-related requirements.<br><br>Job Duties<br><br>Supervise quality assurance inspection staff and sub-consultants to ensure all work complies with approved plans, specifications, and project requirements. Monitor and take responsibility for the safety of AECOM staff and contractors, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Coordinate and maintain effective communication with the Client, Authorities, and Contractor personnel to support smooth project execution. Manage daily project documentation and site observations to ensure accuracy and timely reporting. Prepare, issue, and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to address deviations from project specifications. Review daily work reports submitted by inspectors and sub-consultants for completeness and accuracy. Draft and issue project correspondence to the Contractor and Client as required. Expedite the approval process for permits and regulatory clearances, minimising delays to project timelines. Lead weekly progress meetings with the Client, Contractor, and project team to review progress and resolve issues. Maintain project documentation in accordance with company and client standards. Negotiate change orders on behalf of the Client with the Contractor and provide recommendations for approval. Review and approve the contractor’s monthly invoices, verifying the quantities and values of completed work. Prepare and review monthly project status reports, summarising progress, risks, and key developments. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Project Lead to support project delivery. Supervise and mentor the Assistant Resident Engineer to ensure adequate performance and professional development. Liaise with the head office for resource planning and allocation throughout the project lifecycle.<br><br>Qualifications<br><br>Minimum of 15 years post-undergraduate experience plus 5 years in a senior technical position. Perform survey work under the direction and guidance of the Resident Engineer. Develops new data from photogrammetric records. Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the field. Record all measurements, rod readings and calculations neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses. Check all work by completing traverse closures and bench circuits. Report discrepancies or technical problems to the team leader. Perform joint measurements of the completed work or payment. Join us.<br> <br>Job Description<br> Review the Electrical Shop drawings, material submittals, pre-qualifications, and technical calculations alongside method statements, ITPs, and Quality Checklists for acceptance. Ensure that the quality of all Electrical works carried out at the project site is as per the client's requirements and in compliance with the project quality plan (QPP) & Inspection Test Plan (ITP). Overseeing the construction process using technical expertise and management skills. Conduct all required FATs and SATs per applicable standards and manufacturer’s instructions. Conduct the Testing and Commissioning phase in line with the project specification manufacturer’s instructions. Monitor and control the day-to-day activities of the Electrical Engineers & inspectors i.e., site work inspection as well as inspection of the materials delivered in the Contractor’s store. Issuing Site Observation & Potential NCR when the specification or procedural requirements are not met/violating the compliance of the requirements with Project Technical requirements. Check documentation complies with design criteria, IFC, Shop Drawings /Client/ and standards. Attending weekly quality meetings with the construction team, raising the site quality issues, trying to mitigate them, and warning the hazard to overcome the quality issues. Pushing the contractor to close the open WIR, MIR, and site observation by taking corrective action. Drawing review and advice RA/ PM on the constructability. Meet with the Client and contractor where required and attend site visits to clarify ambiguities and queries to facilitate a smooth construction process. Provide directions to the site construction supervision team on plans, procedures, and priorities so efforts of Construction. Resolve any technical problem faced during the project construction stages. <br>Qualifications<br> Minimum 15 years demonstrable experience in the all aspects of supervision and project administration related to large-scale projects within Middle East in the consulting industry. Assist the Project Lead in reviewing and selecting materials and equipment in compliance with approved submittals. Support the Project Lead in drafting and issuing engineering correspondence. Identify and report non-conformities related to construction and engineering activities through the issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs). Attend progress and coordination meetings, assisting in resolving site issues such as drawing discrepancies and technical conflicts. Participate in snagging and project handover activities, ensuring all works meet quality and contractual standards. Provide expert technical support to the Resident Engineer (RE) to ensure smooth project execution. Liaise with the Design Engineer to implement necessary design modifications during construction. Submit daily site reports, highlighting key issues, progress, and observations to the Project Lead. Expedite client approvals to prevent delays and maintain project momentum. <br>Qualifications<br> Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field (i.e. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural etc..) Join us.<br> <br>Job Description<br> Reading and understanding the package contract documents, detailed drawings, specifications, and health and safety measures, together with any associated updates. Perform survey work under the direction and guidance of the Resident Engineer. Develop new data from photogrammetric records. Establish primary horizontal and vertical control points including reference ties for re-establishing the points in the field. Record all measurements, rod readings and calculations neatly and accurately in field books as the work progresses. Verify the accuracy of survey data including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites. Coordinate with the Contractor’s surveyor on work priorities and schedules. Check all work by completing traverse closures and bench circuits. Report discrepancies or technical problems to the team leader. Perform joint measurements of the completed work or payment. Check completed work for conformance to the line and grade required by the project plans in coordination with the Inspector assigned to the item of work. Perform regular checks of the Contractor’s setting out to verify proper execution and accuracy. Maintain equipment in proper condition and perform frequent calibration checks. Keeps accurate notes, records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed. Coordinates findings with work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others related to the project. Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain. Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys Prepare and maintain sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed. Plan and conduct ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements Apply and implement all safety, quality controls and quality procedures of the site.
