Define ownership, stewardship and governance standards across master data domains and systems, ensuring consistent application of controls and accountability throughout the data lifecycle. Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, quality standards and business expectations.</span></li><li><span>Establish and maintain governance frameworks covering the creation, amendment, approval, monitoring and retirement of master data across all domains and systems. Define and enforce segregation of duties, approval authorities and validation controls to safeguard data integrity. Lead governance reviews, monitor control effectiveness and drive accountability through reporting and oversight. Act as custodian of MDM policies, standards and procedures, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and best practice.</span></li><li><span>Design and maintain internal controls governing master data creation, maintenance, approval, access and usage to safeguard organisational assets, financial information and regulatory compliance. Lead Internal Audit, External Audit and compliance reviews, ensuring timely remediation and sustainable closure of findings. Maintain SOPs aligned to governance requirements, best practice and evolving regulations.</span></li><li><span>Drive automation and technology-enabled solutions to optimise master data processes through self-service capabilities, workflow automation and standardised platforms. Continuously simplify, standardise and re-engineer processes to improve efficiency, strengthen controls and enhance stakeholder experience. Promote the adoption of digital solutions, analytics and emerging technologies to improve productivity, governance and service performance.</span></li><li><span>Lead master data readiness for ERP implementations, system migrations and transformation programmes, including data cleansing, enrichment, standardisation, validation, migration and cutover activities. Partner with Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to define future-state data structures, governance frameworks and operating models. Ensure governance, control and compliance requirements are embedded throughout all transformation activities and support post-implementation governance and data quality monitoring.</span><p><span>Lead enterprise-wide adoption of master data governance changes through effective communication, training and stakeholder engagement.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Act as the senior escalation point for complex master data issues, balancing business needs with governance requirements. Build strong partnerships across Finance, Procurement, Commercial, Treasury, Technology and HR, and act as the final authority for interpreting master data policies, standards and controls.</span></p><br><br></li><li><p><span>Act as the organisation's authority on regulatory and governance requirements impacting master data. Provide strategic guidance to strengthen controls, modernise processes, embed best practices and ensure ongoing compliance. F&B Cost Control Assistant Reports to Cost Control Supervisor Job Purpose:The F&B Cost Control Assistant is responsible for supporting inventory control, stock movement monitoring, item master maintenance, cost control activities, and operational coordination across café operations. The role ensures inventory accuracy, timely processing of stock transactions, compliance with company policies, and effective communication with operational departments to support efficient business operations. Key Accountabilities:Maintain and administer the item master by creating new item codes, activating items, and ensuring item information is accurate and up to date. Process and monitor all inventory transactions, including inter-café stock transfers, transfer returns, stock adjustments, and stock movement postings. Ensure timely and accurate posting of inventory transactions in the ERP system and investigate any discrepancies. Compile, maintain, and reconcile inventory records relating to stock quantities, values, sales, transfers, and other inventory movements. Verify inventory data against physical stock counts and process necessary adjustments after appropriate review and approval. Prepare inventory variance reports, investigate stock discrepancies, and coordinate with operations to identify and resolve variances. Coordinate inventory counting activities and ensure inventory records are accurately updated following stock counts. Review inventory movements, monitor stock availability, and maintain accurate inventory balances across all café locations. Coordinate with chefs and relevant departments to update recipes, bill of materials (BOM), and standard costing to ensure accurate food cost calculations. Assist in maintaining standard food cost data by ensuring recipes and ingredient costs are current and accurately reflected in the system. Prepare inventory-related reports, including stock balances, variances, damaged items, shortages, obsolete stock, and slow-moving inventory for management review. JOB PURPOSE To implement athletics activities and services focusing on varsity sports in line with the student experience strategy and ensure all athletics activities and events are delivered in a timely and efficient manner for RIT students. <br>MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop, implement, and evaluate recreational sports programmes that encourage broad student and staff participation. • Plan and coordinate recreational leagues, tournaments, sports day initiatives, and active lifestyle activities throughout the academic year. • Design inclusive recreational sport programmes that cater to students with varying abilities, interests, and backgrounds. • Monitor and track programme participation and recommend improvements based on feedback and data. • Provide administrative guidance and operational support to RIT Dubai student sports clubs and ensure clubs comply with university policies, financial procedures, and university requirements.• Develop partnerships with national sports federations, local clubs, community organizations, and external service providers to position RIT strategically within the sports community. • Assist with managing Sport traffic, ensure appropriate athletic attire, facilities and equipment usage • Coordinate recreational athletics activities and administrative requirements to ensure efficient delivery of athletics activities (social sports and intramurals) and services for the RIT community. • Responsible for monitoring equipment inventory, maintaining all equipment and ensuring equipment is always readily available for use • Contribute to the development of the athletics calendar/timeline/schedule and monitor and communicate the athletics calendar to students to support the delivery of athletics requirements • Support the development, planning and implementation of athletics activities and events for RIT students as per university requirements • Liaise with students to schedule all athletics activities as per student and university requirements • Manage the intramural, recreational and social sport programs • Support the recording, maintenance and safeguarding of athletics related documentation and information as per RIT policies and procedures • Address and respond to athletics related queries in a timely manner as per RIT policies and procedures • Raise awareness of health and fitness issues and promote participation in athletics activities • Ensure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including QHSE requirements using RIT policies and procedures as appropriate • Assist the RIT community with the safe use of training equipment • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned / needed in order to meet the requirements of the role and the goals of the Institute. <br>QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in a sports related field. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.<br><br>What are we looking for?<br><br>Chief Engineer (STCW III/2) or equivalent maritime qualification, with at least 5 years' experience as a senior engineering officer (Second Engineer or above). Minimum 10 years' experience within the maritime industry. Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, marine engineering systems, maintenance, repairs, and applicable industry standards. Experience in vessel damage assessments, casualty investigations, repair management, and technical reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports and manage stakeholder relationships. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Previous experience in marine consultancy, surveying, or technical advisory services is advantageous. Shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, Ship Repair Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar role is desirable. Direct experience of at least 3 years in project finance, controlling, or cost management within a project-based electromechanical engineering and construction environment.
