Job Purpose<br><br><br><p><strong><span>GSE Mechanic - Docking</span></strong><span> will provide aircraft maintenance support by delivering dedicated access equipment and temporary work platforms, ensuring that maintenance, repair, and modification activities are carried out with safe, appropriate, and adequate access equipment across EK Engineering. All equipment will be maintained, serviced, inspected, and repaired as directed by the docking supervisor to ensure safe and reliable operation.</span></p><br><br><p><strong><span>In this role you will:</span></strong></p><br><br><ul><li><span>Provide platforms, stands and access equipment as required by Emirates Engineering Base and Line Maintenance departments in support of the various aircraft maintenance and repair activities. About the job ENGINEERING MANAGER
<p>We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities for major EPC projects within the oil & gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of engineering work from FEED through Detailed Engineering, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, quality requirements, schedule, and budget. <span><strong>Requisition Number:</strong> 24440BR<br><strong>Description:</strong><br>The role involves working on projects associated with Sewerage & Stormwater, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station, Recycling Plant and rehabilitation works. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring.<br>Key accountabilities for this position include but are not limited to:<br>• Responsible for l site Safety health and environment management.<br>• Assist with the preparation of a construction health and safety plan.<br>• Confirm necessary documentation was submitted to the relevant authorities.<br>• Attend project planning meetings. Attend regular site, technical and progress meetings. Facilitate site health and safety meetings.<br>• Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribution of health and safety specific documents to sub-contractors.<br>• Compiling project specific emergency response and preparedness plans<br>• Testing the effectiveness of the emergency response plans<br>• Conduct site safety inductions.<br>• Oversee the reporting and investigation of project related incidents.<br>• Development of technical reports in relation to health and safety issues and communicate through presentations to diverse groups of decision makers<br>• Client Service Management<br> Internal and external client liaison<br> Ability to build and maintain safety environment at site.<br> Experience in infra project HSE supervision Management.<br>• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.<br> Complete all work in line with Stantec Core Values and in accordance with the Stantec Quality Systems and Project Quality Procedures.<br> Maintain the health and safety environment at workplace.<br>• Other duties as requested from time to time by the Resident Engineer<br><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br>• Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Engineering in Health & Safety Management, Environmental Science or equivalent.<br>• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Miscellaneous Drainage Work, Construction rehabilitation work and Wastewater background.<br>• NEBOSH IGC level 3 is mandatory and other HSE related Diploma certification.<br>• Abu Dhabi Public Health Center Practitioner Course.<br>• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices, particularly in the UAE & Abu Dhabi.<br>with UAE Driving License.<br>• Previous TAQA Approval is preferred.<br><strong>About Stantec:</strong><br>We’re active members of the communities we serve.
