We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a leading luxury Design & Build firm specialising in high-end residential developments, bespoke villas, luxury renovations, and turnkey projects. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and PPM on elevators and escalators.<br><br>Responsibilities:<br><br> Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues in elevators and escalators Performing repairs and maintenance on elevator and escalator systems Conducting PPM to ensure optimal performance and safety Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities Collaborating with other team members to provide excellent customer service.<br><br>Qualifications: <br><br> ITI / Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical / B. The successful candidate will be responsible for overall project delivery, ensuring completion within budget, schedule, quality, and safety requirements while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Manage end-to-end execution of landscape, swimming pool, and water feature projects.</p></li><li><p>Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and resource allocation.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and internal departments.</p></li><li><p>Review contracts, project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and project deliverables.</p></li><li><p>Monitor project progress, costs, risks, and timelines to ensure successful completion.</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with project quality standards, HSE regulations, and contractual obligations.</p></li><li><p>Lead project teams including engineers, supervisors, planners, QA/QC, and subcontractors.</p></li><li><p>Conduct project review meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.</p></li><li><p>Manage variations, claims, change orders, and project documentation.</p></li><li><p>Oversee material procurement and subcontractor performance.</p></li><li><p>Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues impacting project delivery.</p></li><li><p>Ensure successful testing, commissioning, snagging, and project handover.</p></li></ul></div></section><section><p class="heading">Desired Candidate Profile</p><p class="paragraph"></p><ol><li><p>Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.</p></li><li><p><strong>Minimum 12–15 years of total experience</strong>, including <strong>at least 7 years of UAE landscape construction experience</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Proven track record in delivering <strong>landscape, swimming pool, water feature, irrigation, hardscape, and softscape projects</strong> in the UAE.</p></li><li><p>Strong experience managing villa developments, public realm, hospitality, commercial, and residential landscape projects.</p></li><li><p>Excellent knowledge of project management, budgeting, planning, procurement, and contract administration.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, QA/QC procedures, and HSE regulations.</p></li><li><p>Proficient in <strong>MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite</strong>.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.</p></li><li><p>Excellent client-facing, negotiation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within deadlines.</p></li><li><p><strong>Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.</strong></p></li><li><p>PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management certification is preferred.</p></li><li><p>Candidates currently based in the UAE with immediate or short notice availability will be preferred.</p></li></ol><p></p></section>
