Strong experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, technical submittals, material submissions, and compliance documentation. Proven ability to investigate and resolve complex technical and coordination issues. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site execution, quality requirements, and multidisciplinary coordination. Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project-delivery teams. Ability to guide engineers and technical personnel and oversee assigned processes or deliverables. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving, review, assessment, and stakeholder-coordination capabilities. Supervise and manage contractors to ensure works are executed as per specifications, drawings, and project milestones. Direct, coordinate, and monitor the supervision team in conducting daily inspections of construction activities. Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements and promote a safety-first culture across all site operations. Resolve site-related issues promptly, providing sound engineering judgment and ensuring proper documentation. Review and endorse contractors’ technical submittals, method statements, material approvals, and construction drawings. Prepare and implement the Project Execution Plan, HSE Plan, and Quality Control Plan for the assigned package. Full knowledge of methods of excavation and backfilling as per RTA standards. Safety requirements as per DM and RTA standards. Asphalt Tiles reinstatement as per RTA standards. NDRC methods Valid UAE Driving License. <br>Additional Information<br> The Resident Engineer must have full knowledge of the existing sewerage networks in the Emirates of Dubai. Familiar with the DM general conditions of contract, quality assurance, quantity surveying, and project network techniques (primavera p3). Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Primavera P3. Job Purpose<br><br>Plan and support the development and implementation of training related policies, procedures and programs. Initiates, selects, implements, monitors, and follows up appropriate training requirements for ADNOC employees, particularly UAE Nationals, and participates in enhancing training programs in order to support strategic Emiratization objectives. This is a critical regional leadership role responsible for driving exponential GMV growth, gross profit performance and growth and expansion strategy across our local shop verticals.</p><br><p>You will work cross-functionally with local market teams, regional P&T, regional LS operations and content and Delivery Hero Local Stores teams to unlock new growth levers — from choice and assortment expansion strategy to launching new shops, ensuring talabat pro vendor penetration and scaling up talabat’s Health & Beauty vertical. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in commercial strategy within marketplace, grocery, or retail businesses, with a strong track record of managing P&L metrics at scale and leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies.</p><br><p><u><strong>WHAT'S ON YOUR PLATE?</strong></u></p><br><p><strong>Owning the regional Local Shops P&L and country team reporting lines including Instashop UAE and Egypt:</strong></p><br><p>Own the regional Local Shops P&L consolidated for the markets with a strong sense of understanding of commission revenue structure, NCR and NMR, logistics & order fulfilment related costs, talabat pro subscription commercials, basket value / basket size and the vertical and country mix impact. As you own the P&L, the country LS Heads report into this role; you are responsible for managing the reporting of 8 country heads and the 2 Instashop markets (UAE and EG).</p><br><p><strong>Strategic Account Management:</strong></p><br><p>Own the regional commercial relationship with key strategic accounts (AAA accounts). Drive GMV growth, gross profit improvement, and NCR investment efficiency across markets.
