About the Role As Kamel Pay scales across multiple products and into new geographies, we are looking for a Product Manager. Arabic fluency is a non-negotiable requirement for this role given the nature of our current projects and the markets we serve. You will sit across all Kamel Pay products and work closely with our commercial, sales, operations, and customer-facing teams alongside the product and engineering organisation. In addition to your core product responsibilities, you will support Arabic-language sales discovery calls and government-facing meetings. You will report directly to the Chief Technology and Product Officer and work closely with department heads across Sales, VAS, Operations, Customer Support, Compliance, Marketing and Engineering.
What You Will DoProduct Management• Own product requirements and priorities, with particular attention to Arabic-language market needs.• Work with the BA team and engineering to define, scope, and ship product improvements across Kamel Pay's payroll, prepaid card, and payments suite.• Conduct structured product discovery — customer interviews, competitor research, and market mapping — independently.• Translate feedback from front-line teams and clients into structured product briefs and backlog items.• Identify patterns across products and surface them as candidate roadmap items for engineering teams. Arabic-Language & Commercial Support• Support Arabic-language sales discovery calls and government-facing meetings, acting as the product voice in the room.• Communicate product capabilities, use cases, and integration pathways fluently in Arabic to government entities and enterprise clients.• Help translate requirements gathered in Arabic into structured briefs for internal teams.
Cross-Functional Coordination• Embed across UAE teams — attend Sales pipeline reviews, VAS briefings, Operations standups, Customer Support escalation meetings, and partner sync calls.• Capture, log, and structure product feedback, feature requests, and operational pain points from front-line teams.• Deliver regular written summaries to the CTPO covering top themes, urgent escalations, and emerging client needs.• Support partner and government meetings by attending, taking structured notes, and ensuring follow-ups are tracked and closed.
What You Bring Required• Arabic — native or fully fluent (written and spoken). This is non-negotiable.• English — working proficiency required alongside Arabic.• 4–6 years of relevant experience in product management, fintech, banking, payments, or B2B Saa S.• Strong written communicator — you can summarise a 60-minute meeting into a concise note that captures the signal.• High product and technical literacy — you can follow a transaction flow, read API documentation, and explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup environment across multiple workstreams simultaneously. Strongly Preferred• Working knowledge of the UAE financial services ecosystem — banks, processors, regulators, government entities.• Experience working with or selling to government entities or semi-government bodies in the UAE.• Familiarity with payroll, prepaid cards, expense management, or remittance products.• Prior experience in a regulated environment (fintech, banking, payments, or insurance).
What This Role Is Not To be clear about scope, this role is intentionally focused. You will not be:• A salesperson — you will not own pipeline or close deals.• A product operations coordinator — you will own product decisions, not just relay them.• A Customer Success Manager — you will not own commercial relationships with banks or processors.• An end-user customer support agent — you will not handle worker or cardholder complaints directly. You are the Arabic-fluent product leader who connects our market ambitions to the product organisation.
