<strong>MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE</strong><br>To provide functional support long-term aircraft maintenance planning activities and ensure flydubai fleet is maintained in accordance with approved maintenance programme. <br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br><ul><li>Assists in projecting major maintenance requirements, including C-checks, End of Lease (EOL), and Entry Into Service (EIS) activities, for the flydubai fleet based on approved maintenance planning requirements.</li><li>Assists in Creation of Requests for Quotation (RFQ) for each of the projected major maintenance for outsourced checks.</li><li>Liaises with network planning and operations to block maintenance slot according to agreed Turn Around Time (TAT).</li><li>Compiles the Annual Base maintenance plan and releases it to all relevant stake holders.</li><li>Liaises with Network Planning and Operations to allocate maintenance slot for cabin survey for each projected C check aircraft and share the plan with maintenance team for timely execution.</li><li>Assists in Creation of base maintenance work package work-package for each base check input.</li><li>Raises pickslip for material preloading for all contracted base maintenance input.</li><li>Prepares pre-input meeting agendas for all base maintenance inputs, records meeting minutes, communicates outcomes to relevant stakeholders and follows up on critical items.</li><li>Receives soft copies of the completed work-package tasks from contracted Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) providers for further processing within AMOS.</li><li>Reports on the status of all the tasks from the work-package issued to contracted MRO providers.</li><li>Reviews all feedback forms received from Base maintenance input and follow up with stakeholders to ensure prompt action.</li><li>Uploads all Non routine findings from each contracted base maintenance inputs into AMOS.</li></ul> <br><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Engineering</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>3 Years in Engineering & Maintenance with relevant experience in Engineering Planning.</li><li>Knowledge of AMOS is preferable</li><li>Years with qualifications: 3 - 5 years</li></ul> <br><strong>COMPETENCIES</strong><br><ul><li>Customer Focus</li><li>Teamwork</li><li>Effective Communication</li><li>Personal Accountability & Commitment to achieve</li><li>Resilience & Flexibility (Can do attitude)</li></ul> <br><strong>ISR REQUIREMENTS</strong><br>Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Drawing on strong seagoing experience, you will undertake a variety of marine surveys and technical assessments, including hull and machinery surveys, vessel inspections, condition assessments, and casualty-related investigations.<br><br>What will you be doing?<br><br>Undertake marine surveys, inspections, technical assessments, and casualty investigations, determining the nature, extent, and cause of damage. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as required.<br><br>What are we looking for?<br><br>Chief Engineer (STCW III/2) or equivalent maritime qualification, with at least 5 years' experience as a senior engineering officer (Second Engineer or above). Minimum 10 years' experience within the maritime industry. Strong technical knowledge of vessel operations, marine engineering systems, maintenance, repairs, and applicable industry standards. Experience in vessel damage assessments, casualty investigations, repair management, and technical reporting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear technical reports and manage stakeholder relationships. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Previous experience in marine consultancy, surveying, or technical advisory services is advantageous. Shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent, Ship Repair Manager, Fleet Manager, or similar role is desirable.
