Manage thermal, chemical, electrical and other burn injuries. Assess burn depth, extent and severity and develop individualized treatment plans. Lead multidisciplinary management of major burn injuries. Perform appropriate burn surgery, including:Escharotomy and fasciotomy where indicated Burn wound excision and debridement Tangential excision Skin grafting and wound coverage Management of complex burn wounds Reconstructive procedures for burn sequelae Manage acute burn resuscitation and critical care in collaboration with ICU teams. Provide comprehensive wound care and infection prevention/management. Manage complications including sepsis, contractures, hypertrophic scarring and functional impairment.
