<p>The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing customers with an effective pharmaceutical service by dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians as well as providing information to customers about medications and their use.</p><br><ul><li><p>Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians.</p></li><li><p>Instruct customers on how and when to take prescribed medications, advising interventions,</p></li></ul><p>and informing customers of any potential side effects as well.</p><ul><li><p>Process the customer insurance prescriptions, get it approved and dispense the medication</p></li></ul><p>accordingly with clear usage instructions.</p><ul><li><p>Keep accurate customer records and ensure a safe and clean working environment.</p></li><li><p>Answer all incoming telephone calls as per company telephone etiquette.</p></li><li><p>Complete operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries,</p></li></ul><p>maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged</p><p>drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.</p><ul><li><p>Adhere to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical</p></li></ul><p>practice.</p><ul><li><p>Perform other administrative tasks when needed.</p><br></li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelors/Masters in pharmacy or pharmacology.</p></li><li><p>UAE medical license (DHA, MOH or HAAD/DOH)</p></li><li><p>Experience certificate from previous pharmacy (if applicable).</p></li><li><p>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies.</p></li></ul>
